What You Need to Know: Following a surprise release on Nike SNKRS last month, the "UNC" Off-White x Air Jordan 1 is making a return for a more widespread release. This iteration of Virgil Abloh's deconstructed Air Jordan I sports a white and Carolina Blue upper with the designer's signature hits like orange tags, a branding stamp on the medial side, "AIR" wording on the midsole, and a red zip tie. 

Nike Air Flightposite One 'Legion Green'

What You Need to Know: This Foamposite model made popular by NBA superstars like Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett in the early 2000s is making a return this week in a "Legion Green" colorway. The pair features a green Foamposite shell, black neoprene shroud to cover the inner bootie, zipper enclosing the laces, and black and green Swoosh branding on the shroud and heel area. The upper sits atop a smoky translucent outsole.

What You Need to Know: This week, Nike is dropping its annual N7 collection that helps organizations provide sport and physical activity programming to Native American and Aboriginal communities. This year's lineup consists of a Kyrie 4, Air Force 1, and Air Max 1 representing the sky reflecting onto water. Each colorway utilizes various shades of blue, detailing like hand-woven uppers for a more handcrafted vibe, and various forms of N7 branding like the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's seal found on the Kyrie 4 as an homage to his mother's heritage.

WMNS Nike Air VaporMax 97 'Blur'

What You Need to Know: The latest pair of Nike's hybrid that combines the upper of the Air Max 97 with the midsole from the Air VaporMax is a women's exclusive in a colorway similar to the popular "Metallic Gold" Air Max 97. The "Blur" color scheme sports a metallic bronze upper with coral hits used on the Swoosh branding.

Off-White x Nike Air Presto 'Polar Opposites'

What You Need to Know: One of the most coveted pairs from Virgil Abloh's original "The Ten" collection with Nike is his take on the Air Presto. This week, the Presto returns in what is being dubbed the "Polar Opposites" pack. Black and white-based iterations of the model are completed with tan Swooshes, "Air" branding on the lateral heel, a branding stamp on the medial side, orange tabs, a red Nike logo on the tongue, and Abloh's patented zip tie fastened to the laces. 

Adidas Yung-1

What You Need to Know: Adidas' latest Originals model is a chunky low-top catering to the current "dad shoe" trend. The Yung-1 is inspired by 1997's Falcon Dorf silhouette and sports a suede, mesh, and leather upper. Branding is displayed in the form of a trefoil on the tongue and fabric Three Stripes on the side panels. Two colorways will be introduced for the Yung-1's debut—an orange-based pair with navy blue and yellow hits, as well as a patriotic red, white, and blue make up.

Adidas Continental 80

What You Need to Know: Capitalizing on the success of Kanye West's retro-inspired Yeezy Powerphase, Adidas is introducing the Continental 80 model. This more affordable alternative to Ye's model features the same overall shape and detailing, but replaces a perforated Three Stripes with a a two-toned stripe on the side panels. The gold foil "Calabasas" text is also absent from the equation. The Continental 80 debuts in white, black, and cream colorways.

What You Need to Know: Yet another silhouette being debuted by Adidas this week is the soccer-inspired Sobakov. It features a black knit upper, white leather Three Stripes on each side panel that wrap the heel, and black leather hits on the tongue and heel. The upper sits atop a wavy gum midsole. The overall look and vibe of the shoe brings forth comparisons to the Kamanda model debuted by Adidas earlier this year—another design that placed a retro-inspired upper atop a chunky gum sole. 

Sneakersnstuff x Adidas Consortium 4D

What You Need to Know: Sneakersnstuff is the first boutique to receive a Consortium release for Adidas' newest futuristic, 4D-printed runner. The pricey collab features a navy blue and burgundy knit upper, burgundy Three Stripes branding, and the usual dual branded tongue tags found on most Consortium projects. The green midsole is the same one used on the original Futurecraft 4D model and is crafted using Digital Light Synthesis. This pair will only be available in-store to select winners of a raffle being held by the popular retailer.



Puma Thunder Electric

What You Need to Know: Following the surprise success of Puma's Thunder Spectra model that sold out upon release, the brand is bringing back its trendy "dad shoe" inspired by retro '90s models and past Alexander McQueen collaborations in two more colorways. The Thunder Electric models cover the chunky lifestyle sneaker with white mesh uppers, black leather and grey suede overlays, and speckled midsoles. One pair sports grey, orange, blue, and metallic silver details. The other opts for orange and metallic gold hits, and a gum outsole. 

Nike Cortez Kenny III

What You Need to Know: Over the course of his career, Compton's own Kendrick Lamar has made his allegiance to the Nike Cortez clear. Now on his third official project with Nike on the west coast favorite, the Cortez Kenny III is scheduled for a wider release this week. Originally released in select cities throughout TDE's nationwide The Champions Tour, the pair features a black nylon upper with white leather hits on the Swoosh and heel, red contrast stitching and heel branding, tonal Chinese text stitched on the lateral toe area as a nod to his Kung-Fu Kenny nickname, a special "Damn" tongue tag inspired by his award-winning album, and a red stripe down the laces reading "Bet It Back" in black. 

Nike SB Dunk Low 'Ride Life'

What You Need to Know: This upcoming SB Dunk collab is the first on a series of projects by Japanese retailers leading up to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Murasaki dressed the iconic silhouette in a black and obsidian upper that rotates between perforated leather, suede, and elephant print on various panels. White contrast is used on the tongue, laces, midsole, and unique heel branding—a "19" stitched on the left shoe and "73" on the right. Special insoles feature "Tokyo" written in white Japanese lettering. 



Nike React Vapor Street Flyknit 'College Navy'

What You Need to Know: Nike's runner-inspired lifestyle model returns in a "College Navy" colorway with a royal blue knit upper, navy blue hits on the tongue and ankle collar, giant black Swoosh on the mid panel that extends down to the midsole, and a gradient midsole that fades from solid blue by the toe to a speckled white by the heel. 

Nike Air Max 270 'Be True'

What You Need to Know: Completing Nike's 2018 "Be True" collection celebrating National Pride Month and the LGBTQ community is the Air Max 270. A lavender upper is offset with black welded overlays, "BE TRUE." branding on the heel tab and insole, and a rainbow effect on the massive Air bag in the heel. 

Nike Air More Uptempo 'White/University Red/Black'

What You Need to Know: Initially released in 2017, this black-and-white Air More Uptempo makes a return almost a year later. Inspired by the player most synonymous with the '90s model, this pair sports a color scheme that perfectly matches the Chicago Bulls' jerseys and is emblazoned with Scottie Pippen's personal logo on each heel.



Nike Kyrie 4 'Uncle Drew'

What You Need to Know: Leading up to the release of the Uncle Drew movie in theaters this summer starring Kyrie Irving, Nike has crafted a special version of the leading man's fourth signature model to celebrate the occasion. The simple color scheme combines a white upper with a blue Swoosh embroidered on the side panel, speckled midsole, and gum outsole. The exact pair was originally seen worn on set by Irving during filming. 

Air Jordan XII 'Michigan'

What You Need to Know: Always a welcomed release at retail, this weekend Jordan Brand is dropping a collegiate PE of a popular Air Jordan retro. The "Michigan" Air Jordan XII was originally debuted with similar styling in 2017 as an exclusive gifted to the football team designed by Public School New York. It is covered in the team colors of the Wolverines with a navy blue suede upper, yellow hits on the mud guard and eyelets, and a giant yellow "M" logo on stitched on the right tongue. Despite not being an official PSNY collab, this pair is still up to par with the original PE version.
