Combine futuristic, sci-fi and tech and you get preacher’s wife Meagan Good’s upcoming Fox sci-fi series Minority Report.
After a well-received 20-minute preview at this year’s Comic-con convention, hopes are high that the success of its big screen debut 13 years ago, can be replicated on the small screen.
Premiering September 21, Minority Report is based on the 2002 Steven Spielberg/Tom Cruise blockbuster, but Good says, there are new things to look forward to.
“It’s evolved and I think that you’ll get a chance to know these characters, you get a chance to know this world,” said the 33-year-old in an interview with Digital Spy.
Set 10 years after the end of Pre-crime in D.C., Minority Report follows Dash (Stark Sands), who can see crimes before they happen. But he has trouble living normally due to constant visions of the future.
When he meets Detective Lara Vega (Good), she just may be able to help Dash find a purpose for his gift.
“I think there’s just a lot of places that it can go, like, the possibilities are endless,” said Good.
