It’s been more than two months since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her bathtub on Jan. 31, and though her condition remains critical, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is still hanging on.

Her devoted father has been by her side in Georgia throughout. But on Saturday, April 11, the R&B performer, 46, made his first performance at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles.

The “Every Little Step” singer brought the audience to tears, making a brief emotional speech, which referenced his “hard times.” He performed “Don’t Be Cruel” and “On Our Own.”

“I must tell ya’ll, this feels, this feels, this feels really, really, really really good,” Brown told the crowd in a TMZ video. “You know, rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don’t know what the hell I’m going through right now, but I’m giving it to God and letting him deal with it.”
