September 15, 2016 (Vancouver, BC, Canada) - Acclaimed Christian hip hop violinist and rapper John "A.d.i.d.a.m." Littlejohn just released a new music video, featuring a song from his upcoming release, “Caterpillar Chronicles,” due out later this year. The song is called “Rain Please Stay” and highlights beautiful shots of rainy Vancouver, in reverse.
About the song, John blogged, “I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world: Vancouver, British Columbia. Full of sunshine, mountains, ancient skies, beaches, rainforests, and most of all – RAIN. Whether you love it or hate it, doesn’t change it’s reality. Rain makes things grow. Alongside the rain-soaked, sun-kissed foliage of Vancouver, I am growing. So here is my ode to Vancouver, and an anthem of growth: Rain Please Stay.”
All sounds (beat, vocals, violin, effects) on the song are created by John and his violin, whom he affectionately calls “Margaret.” The track is totally acoustic, with no special effects or samples. "Extremely original," (VH1), "Distinctive," (The Baltimore Sun), and "A breath of fresh air," (Music Monthly Magazine), are some of the terms used to describe John’s unique sound. The video is directed by Dale Villajuan for 7 on it Productions.
