This will be Montell Jordan‘s first album release, since 2008‘s “Let It Rain.”
“‘Masterpeace’ is the soundtrack for our Marriage Masterpeace Ministry. It promotes and encourages couples to keep dating in their marriage and spiritually strengthen their faith in each other. The album is comprised of R&B songs from the heart of a man who loves God, his wife and family. The project is designed to reach beyond the four walls of the church and to inspire love and closer relationship in marriages by intentionally sharing thoughts from a more spiritual perspective. Married couples will need baby sitters for this album because they will be inspired to dance longer, love harder and make it last forever.”
The albums lead single is produced by Lecrae, entitled “When I’m Around You.” The title of the album comes from a book Montell released with his wife Kristin Jordan last year called “This Is How We Do It – Making Your Marriage a Masterpeace.”
You just dropped the new single “When I’m Around You” with Lecrae. Talk about the new single.
Montell Jordan: Lecrae is a friend and fraternity brother of mine. The single is the first release that I’ve put out in over ten years. It’s going to be the forthcoming single from an album called “Masterpeace”. It’s a project that I wanted to do to be the soundtrack to marriage ministry. my wife Kristin and I do marriage ministry together and we go places to do conferences and speaking engagements. It just felt like some music doesn’t always fit in a church or the occasion, so we wanted to create the soundtrack to our marriage ministry. It’s stories and experiences, so we put together a project which is coming out probably late fall or winter. Read More Here

Nobigdyl - Lowercase Tape!
LOWERCASE TAPE is more than an album. It’s not a project that was meant just for directories. It’s not a conglomerate of dyl. and labelmates chasing one, flat narrative through music. The album is not even a frivolous mixtape of random tracks that dyl. thought just needed to be released.
LOWERCASE TAPE is art.
It’s the end of an artistic journey. It’s the culmination of texts, calls, recordings, samples, trips, bars, thoughts, and ultimately of who Christ has compelled nobigdyl. to be. The project is just simply great. It’s spontaneous, bouncy, diverse, deep, lyrical, and it’s classic, authentic nobigdyl. It was long-awaited, much anticipated, and truly, now, celebrated. If you haven’t heard it by now, please, I beg you… do yourself the favor. This is not the creation of the album or the request of the fans. This is truly the art of the mixtape. Don’t take my word for it… take nobigdyl.’s word for it:
i don’t make music just to make it. i believe in the power + artform of hip hop — its ability to communicate messages + shape culture + people. i respect the slow process of perfecting the craft. sometimes the way forward is to retrace the methods of those before you #Nov8
THIS MIXTAPE REPRESENTS FREEDOM. IF YOUVE FOLLOWED ME FOR A WHILE YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN. WE GOING UP ALL DAY + NIGHT.
DATPIFF RIGHT NOW; EVERYWHERE @ MIDNIGHT

Kanye West - Jesus Is King
After a longer-than-expected delay, Kanye West’s new album Jesus Is King is finally out now. Listen below. Check out the credits here.
West’s follow-up to 2018’s ye was initially teased back in August, when Kim Kardashian West hinted at its release by tweeting a photo of a handwritten tracklist and the date September 27. On the night of the 27th, Kim announced that the album would arrive two days later. It did not materialize.
At several points on the album, Kanye references the 13th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, which established the abolition of slavery. The text of the 13th Amendment reads: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” On the song “On God,” Kanye raps, “13th Amendment, gotta end it, that’s on me.”

Back in July, hip hop veterans Krum and Theory Hazit announced that they would be joining forces on an album. They began to campaign and promote this album with a series called “Muddy Mondays,” and on every Monday either songs from the project, unreleased tracks, or announcements would be dropped on their Instagram accounts. They have already given the fans some treats with a 9 track mini project made up of songs that didn’t make the album titled ‘SPAT.‘ This project was released as a cassette tape only project with some exclusive merch attached. Krum took to Twitter last weekend to tell the fans or “Road Dogs” to save up their money as they had a big announcement to make on Monday(September 2).
