Often? How often?
Winfrey, with her wide-ranging appeal, emotionally moving segments and feel-good generosity, was more a "spiritual but not religious" type to many viewers, as this article posits.
Though she was raised Baptist, over the years, she opened up to Buddhist guests, new age gurus and spiritual leaders.
When she did mention Jesus in particular, it was from a more spiritual perspective, likediscussing "Christ consciousness" in reaction to Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth. This led theologically conservative Christian groups to criticize her for watering down her faith or leaving it altogether.
