Oh, I already know people are going to have A problem with what you are about to read. But these are not my thoughts, ideas, and philosophies. This is from scripture. So don’t be mad at me. Blame God! (Kanye shrug emoji lol)

Yahweh expects all Christians to move in a decent way when it comes to dealing with people who are not Christian and even his “enemies.” A Christian is expected to control himself and have victory over his flesh. Yah expects us to give testimony to his love and be an example of the love and forgiveness of Yah for all men.

  1. Take A real interest in the blessings of other people without hate (v. 14)
  2. Show real compassion for others (v. 15)
  3. Live in harmony and of one accord(v. 16)
  4. Don’t unlawfully aspire to be rich and powerful. Don't avoid the poor, only linking to the rich and powerful (v. 16)
  5. Link up with humble and godly people, going through life with as little  show and parade as possible (v. 16)
  6. Do Not Be egotistical and vain (v. 16)
  7. Never repay any man, evil for evil (v. 17)
  8. Do not spend more money than you actually have (v. 17)
  9. Try to live at peace with all people (v. 18)
  10. Leave vengeance and revenge to Yah (v. 19
  11. Yahweh is good to us, even when we are against him. Likewise, we should always treat our enemies with goodness. Then you make them feel a burning sense of shame (v. 20
  12. Never let evil get the best of you. Get the best of evil by doing good (v. 21)

SPEAK WELL OF YOUR ENEMIES

Romans 12:14 teaches that you are to “Bless them that persecute you” The word bless here comes from the Greek word eulogeo, which means “speak well of.” Oh yeah! That means we as Christians have to do something that isn’t easy to do. Speak well of those who attack us. Whoa! Just think about that... You mean to tell me somebody is on social media or even in person talking mess about me, attacking me, mistreating me and I'm supposed to speak highly about this person? It doesn't matter if it’s your family, co-worker, neighbor, classmate, whatever, whoever, we are to bless the person that attacks us. We do not react to them by cursing them out and returning the same negative smoke they sent your way, Nope! We actually do the opposite, find something good about them and compliment them on it ( 1. Peter 3:9; Ephesians 4:31-32) Firstly, it will confuse your enemy when you don’t stoop down to his childish level. Second, when you show an attitude of love and blessing to people that attack you, you provide a strong witness that The Holy Spirit can use to win the person over to Christ.  So yes, we are to do good and show love to people that attack us. (Lk. 6:27: Lk. 6:35; Rom. 12:20; 1 Th. 5:15; Pr. 25:21)

7 DUTIES TO OUR ENEMIES

  1. Love them (Mt. 5:44; Lk. 6:27)
  2. Bless them (Mt. 5:44; Lk. 6:28)
  3. Do Good To them (Mt. 5:44)
  4. Pray for them ( Mt. 5:44; Lk 6:28)
  5. Lend to them
  6. Be kind to Them (Lk. 6:35-36)
  7. Be merciful to them (Lk.6:36)

BE GENUINELY INTERESTED IN WHAT'S GOING ON WITH OTHERS

Romans 12:15 teaches us that we should be interested in what's going on with other people, When they rejoice, you should rejoice with them. Do you know somebody that just had a baby? Congratulate them. Did a co-worker just get promoted? Show him or her you are happy for them. Now, this is not easy for us to do. It’s natural for us to be jealous and envious when a person is successful. Conquer that nature and turn that hate into love! Now it’s the same thing when people are going through stuff. If they grieve, grieve with them, show that you care. Show support.

BE HUMBLE OR YOU WILL BE HUMBLED

Romans 12:16 teaches us to “Mind not high things.” It’s always good to shoot for greatness, but while you are doing that, humble yourself. A Christian should never be snobbish. And you should never think you are better than everyone else. It’s human nature to think of you more than others because of the clothes and shoes we rock, the people we hang with, our position at work, the car we drive, the money we have, and so on. Do you realize you can lose all that stuff in a Thanos Snap! Humble yourself homie. If you don’t, you will be humbled. You also have people that think they are better than others because they are smarter. If I’m smarter, I must be more superior right? That pride is dangerous. Humble yourself. In fact, scripture teaches that your attitude should be simple and humble like a child (Pr. 3:7: Is 5:21; Rom 11:25

CHRISTIANS SHOULD NEVER RETURN EVIL FOR EVIL

Oh, some of you will not like this one. Christians should never play those tit for tat games. Evil for evil. If you are a real Christian, living a real Christian life and a real Christian way, you will get attacked by people and hit with evil. Let’s just be honest. People will make fun of you just because you pray and study your Bible every day. Yeah, even people that go to your church will make fun of you. But you should never react by checking evil with evil. What does that even do? What's the point? Oh to show people you are not the one! You are the baddest. No, it makes you look like a child dealing with a child. That immature reaction can cause us to lose help in winning that soul to Christ, as well as others who see your reaction. People will say, “ See, that's why I don’t go to church. That’s how Christians get down.” But on the flip side, if you return good for evil, you open doors and opportunities. Returning evil for evil is not the way of Yahweh (Mt. 5:39, 45; 1 Pe. 3:9; 1 th. 5:15 1 Th. 5:15; Le. 19:18)

“Provide things honest in the sight of all men” That means think before you act!. If somebody does something shady to you, Think before you make a move. Think and pray. Why? So you can react in the correct and godly way. Remember, people are watching you, and testimony of Yah’s love will be seen by them.

LIVE IN PEACE AND UNITY

Romans 12:18 teaches us, if possible, we are to live in peace and unity with everyone. If possible because realistically sometimes it isn't. Some of the people we have to deal with are trouble makers that love drama. But our goal is always peace and we should never be the cause of conflict.

Last I want to talk about revenge. I know It goes against human nature but, revenge is not the Christian way according to the bible. Revenge and vengeance belongs to Yahweh, not man. Did you know, we don’t have a right to judge or punish people? Well, we don’t. That's right, it's Yahweh’s and His alone. But don’t worry, Yah will definitely repay in full! You treating someone who did you wrong with kindness and mercy will shame Him.

Understand this. When you try and get revenge, you actually give victory to the person that did you wrong. Sometimes that’s their goal. They bait you and you fall for it.

Ok so, “the body” Your body! You are to present it to Yahweh as a living sacrifice. It will be his body. Now let me tell you something that might trip you out. Yahweh is not interested in your money, your time or your skills, Nah homie, He is interested in you, your body. There is only one gift that makes the redeemed creator happy, and that is the redeemed creation.

Ok, now when you do this, give your body to Yahweh, you will not be conformed or molded in the ways of this world. Conformed. Let’s talk  about this word for a sec. If you look it up in an English dictionary, you will see that

Conformity is the act of matching attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors to group norms or politics. Norms are implicit, specific rules, shared by a group of individuals, that guide their interactions with others. Wikipedia
