Praise Brings Revival Anointing

Praise Brings Revival Anointing

 

We covered this in the anointing. How does the anointing come? How does revival power come? Does it not come when spirits come in unison looking to the Lord, pouring unto Him? That is when revival power comes. If you want revival power; if you want revival anointing, get together with somebody and start praising the Lord. Get together.

 

In Acts 16 we have the smallest church recorded in the Bible, and it was in a very unusual place – behind bars. Paul and Silas were thrown into prison and they decided to have a worship service. Do you want confirmation that the Lord will come and add His power if two or three will stand together in agreement?

 

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed [Gk: 'To pray to God, i.e. supplicate, WORSHIP:--pray (× earnestly, for), make prayer'], and sang praises [Gk: 'To hymn, i.e. sing a religious (spiritual) ode; implication to celebrate (God) in song:--sing an hymn (praise unto)'] unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. (Acts 16:25-26).

 

There were just two of them but they said, “That’s it! We don’t care if we’re in prison. It is meeting time. We’re having church now. Let’s sing, let’s worship, let’s praise. Hallelujah!” They began to glorify the Lord and the Lord came in and started tapping His foot to the music. The prison couldn’t take it. It began to shake, and they were set free!
