Embattled New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez asked a federal judge on Monday to throw out an arbitrator's decision suspending him for the 2014 baseball season for doping, escalating a battle with Major League Baseball that shows no signs of abating.

Tim Tebow, New York Jets backup quarterback who has received as much media attention as the team's starter, is responding to critics who say he needs to be more tight-lipped around the press.
Tebow, 24, should speak less in front of media personnel according to ESPN analyst Tedy Brushchi, who said the popular backup QB should "disappear."

The Denver Nuggets have finally completed their long-awaited trade to send Carmelo Anthony(notes) to the New York Knicks, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.
