A new reality television show about pastors in Los Angeles, scheduled to release this fall, is already stirring up controversy.

Preachers of L.A., about which Charisma News previously reported under its working title Pastors of L.A., is a new "authentic docuseries" from Oxygen Media. Grammy-winning singer Lauryn Hill began serving a three-month prison sentence on Monday for failing to pay about $1 million in taxes over the past decade.
 

Hill reported to federal prison in Danbury, said Ed Ross, a spokesman for the federal Bureau of Prisons. Inmates at the minimum security prison live in open dormitory-style living quarters and are expected to work jobs such as maintenance, food service or landscaping.

TV One has announced that its President and CEO Wonya Lucas will step down at the end of the month.
 


Lucas, who assumed the role in May 2011, will be replaced by Alfred Liggins, the CEO and President of TV One's parent company Radio One.

 
Liggins will add oversight of all daily network operations for TV One to his portfolio effective November 1.
