World Champion basketball player Dwyane Wade and Grammy award winning hip hop artist Lecrae join forces for the launch of the National Campaign "This Is Fatherhood".
The campaign will begin with the nation's first ever "Fatherhood Challenge", where contestants will submit a song, photo, video or an essay that answers the question, "What does fatherhood mean to me." Submissions will be accepted until Noon on June 1st on the"This is Fatherhood" website. Participants will compete for cash prizes

The show will take place on for dates in San Bernadino CA, Mountain View CA, Washington DC, and Rutherford NJ. Lecrae, contemporary Christian hip-hop artist, was recently nominated for Top Christian Album in the 2013 Billboard Music Awards for his latest album, 'Gravity.'
'Gravity,' which was released in 2012, marked Lecrae's sixth studio album and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 charts, according to Breathecast. It sold over 72,000 units in the first week as well, which made it the biggest sales week in history for a Christian hip-hop album.

Statik Selektah is a pretty well respected New York underground Hip Hop DJ, boom bap producer and Shade 45 radio host. So when he hooked up with Lecrae for his album Population Control in 2011, that was kind of a big deal. Well it looks like these two are going to make it happen again on a new project called Extended Play.
