A few years back, LG for Mobile World Congress showed off one of the wildest devices I had ever seen. With a bit of finagling, you could pop off the bottom of the G5's body and swap it out with a camera controller or a high-quality audio DAC. The idea didn't last long, but it spoke to the kinds of risks the company was willing to take to build (what seemed to it, at least) like a winner.

Only a few years ago, when asked for recommendations on which smartphone to buy, the last name to pass my lips would be LG. The phones they produced weren’t terrible, just faceless, corporate machines seemingly designed to put people to sleep.

LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live, the first Android Wear powered smartwatches, are out of stock on Google Play Store in India.

After nearly two weeks of getting listed, LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live, the first Android Wear powered smartwatches, are out of stock on Google Play Store in India.

Google started selling the LG G Watch at Rs 14,999 on June 26 with deliveries commencing July 8, while Samsung’s first Android Wear smartwatch went on sale at Rs 15,900 just four days back.
