Jordanheads have been waiting patiently since word got out in June that the Nike Air—branded Jordan 6 ‘Infrared’ would be retroed, and the wait ends this weekend. It’s been a long time between drinks for the OG detail. In fact, the world was just recovering from Y2K fever last time the AJ6 wore a Swoosh.
The Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared made its most recent retro in 2014, but the classic Nike Air branding appearing on the heel is finally dropping again in February. The popular colorway is covered in black nubuck for its upper with infrared detailing on the midsole, heel, and the lace locks. Finally, the clean style is topped off with an icy translucent outsole.
This "True Berry/Rush Pink/White" make up covers the retro model—which is kicking off its 30th anniversary this year—in a polka-dotted True Berry upper with pink accents highlighting the netting and wings.
As for a release date, this "Valentine's Day" Air Jordan 4 GS is set to arrive on Saturday, Feb. 9.
