Faith It Till You Make It

Honestly, if it wasn't for God's grace and enduring mercies, I surely will not be here today. You know there is nothing worst than the feeling of being out of the favor of God, every time I sin I get that gut wrenching condemnation pinching feeling. Faithing it till you make it is actually not an earthly goal one should make for themselves, but the exact opposite. This should be a heavenly goal. A goal that sees no boundaries, hears no defeat.

Faith Worth Waiting For

7936050069?profile=originalIf I had a top ten list of biblical acts of faith, I believe that the shear act of faith that Mary displayed when told that she was to carry Jesus had to make at least one or two on my list. Just think about it, here you have a young teenage girl on the verge to being wed and being told one day by an Angel that she would be practically carrying in her womb the author of this universe. Just thing about that, that's huge. It took a huge leap of faith to even believe that it were to be possible as

How To Have Faith in Justice

7936050257?profile=originalFaith has always been the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. But what happens to that hope when the laws around us seem to be a little tainted and many times it seems like justice has no equal playing field. What happens to the little child that runs to his mother and tells his mother that he was being bullied by another? That parent will immediately want justice for her son, and for that particular school to act swiftly and accordingly to the rule book. But what

Time For A Faith Lift

By: Michael Beckford

The book of Romans 1:17 states For the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel from faith to faith just as it is written, "the righteous by faith will live."

It's time for a faith lift people; we are living in a time in America where individuals are getting face lifts by the thousands. Some are young and many are old, but by the very nature of the business are booming and many people believe within themselves that they are no longer worthy for man's standard of beauty.

Are You Ready to Stand Before God?

Standing before GodDear Friend, the Bible declares that one day you will die and then stand face to face with God to be judged. Hebrews 9:27 reads, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Nothing in your entire life could be more important than being ready for that day, because it will determine whether you will spend eternity in heaven or in hell.

obama-heckler09.jpg"I agree, Jesus Christ is the Lord. I believe in that," President Barack Obama said in response to a heckler who disrupted his speech at a Los Angeles fundraiser Monday.

The president had just commenced his address to supporters at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, when a man began labeling him as "the Antichrist" before being dragged out of the fundraiser event by Secret Service agents.
The man, identified as David Serrano, had positioned himself at the front of the stage and shou

Each generation of Christians faces its own set of theological challenges. For this generation of evangelicals, the question of beginnings is taking on a new urgency.
In fact, this question is now a matter of Gospel urgency. How are we to understand the Bible's story, if we can have no confidence that we know how it even begins?
In terms of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the most urgent question related to beginnings has to do with the questions related to the existence of Adam and Eve as the fir

"I often say, 'Nobody but Jesus could have made this happen for me,'" Oprah Winfrey told Good Morning America on the day of her much anticipated final show. ""I had no stylist, I had no publicist, I [was not] marketing-savvy, I was the most naive in terms of how the business operated."

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple… “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! The Truth About Christmas - Part 2

Veneration of the Virgin and Child

This may come as a stretch to some, but the nativity’s primary imagery, the “Madonna and Child” is actually worship of the “heavenly mother”, the goddess Cybele (also Semiramis and Tammuz). Don’t you find it odd that the United States Government wants God’s name out of the Pledge of Allegiance and other forms of law; but they happily celebrate Christmas, take Sunday’s off, and make a postage stamp for the “Madonna and Child”?

The cult of the Virgin Mary arose i

By now you might guess it wasn’t December 25th. You now know that the 25th of December is the time of the Winter Solstice and is the claimed birth date of all the major pagan deities. Now, looking to Israeli meteorologists, they actually tracked December weather patterns for many years and concluded that the climate in Israel has been essentially constant for at least the last 2,000 years. The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bi
