Wu-Tang-Clan-Rapper-Shyheim-Pleads-Guilty-to-Manslaughter-Charge.jpg?resize=500%2C250

Rapper Shyheim, affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan has pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge stemming from a fatal car accident on New Year’s Day.

Shyheim Franklin, 35, surrendered to police in January in the days after the crash on Staten Island, which killed Felipe Avila Olea, 29. He was accused of driving into the victim’s car after ignoring a stop sign, and hitting a parked vehicle before fleeing the scene on foot.

Franklin has now pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter and a weapon

The recent Hollywood influx of successful faith-based films has paved the way for Christian filmmakers, producers and executives to get a seat at the table.

Among the latest beneficiaries is 36-year-old preacher and movie executive DeVon Franklin, who has inked a first-look production deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment.
