Jesus said, "I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave is a transient, who can't come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through.      -John 8:34-36

As un-believers we were all the slaves of sin...but Thank God there is Freedom through Jesus Christ!  Jesus said who ever He sets Free is Free Indeed. Tha

...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.   -Psalm 30:5

We all cry sometimes (if we are honest) We all have moments in our lives that seem dark and stormy, but like the faithful sunrise, morning comes and the Joy of The Lord strengthens and picks us up, sometimes to the point that we even forget what we were weeping about. God is always faithful and His Joy is our strength. When the storms come, don't fret just hold on and look to the horizon cause joy is coming in

In this age modern technology, more and more gadgets are being created to occupy our time. Need to waste time...there's an app for that.

Seriously, we are constantly being bombarded by attacks from WMD's Weapons of Mass Distraction. Now more than ever it is of most importance to have some time set aside where you turn off all the noise and listen to what God has to say.

Today's Challenge: Spend some quiet time with the Father. Tune everything else out, and listen for that soft still voice of

You are unique, one of a kind, really you are! What happens when you look to others to find out how to act or even what to do? Disappointment and frustrated. We were not made to copy other people's lives. God created each one of us different, with different talents, abilities, and gifts. You may admire someone else's gifts, but if you try and copy what they are doing you will end up very frustrated. We can never do exactly what someone else does. If we look to another person

Creating a Biblical Marriage

"And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
"Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Genesis 2:23-24 (KJV)

This is one of the most powerful scriptures concerning marriage, but most of us don't read any depth into it. We skim over it, agree with it and move on without really "getting" it.

Most of us move into a marria

Casting the Devil From Our Lives

It was around 11:00 PM. This was back during the time when I lived with my grandmother and Debbie was just a dream of mine. I had mentioned before the incident in which I had been awakened by a heavy weight laying on top of me. This was the same type of feeling only it wasn't a weight and I was wide awake, reading in my room. The room was filled with the presence of evil though I could see nothing. I knew that an evil spirit had entered my bedroom. The temptation to be afraid wa

SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESSFUL WOMEN

1. In everything you do, always put GOD first.

Many of us have a habit of putting other people first or putting ourselves before anyone or anything. This is what we are taught to do, but it is incorrect and it is damaging. Eloihim must always come first. Everything you do, whether at home or the workplace you must do for him. He comes before your spouse, your boss, your children, your customers. If you put GOD first, all

The Behavior of Women

Titus 2:3-5 teaches us how women, both younger and older, should act. And to be honest it is in direct contrast of we see in the home, workplace, classroom and community today. First lets discuss our older women. Older women are to be reverent and pure. They are to be set apart for the world in thought and behavior. They should only move and speak in the spirit of holiness and be focuses on sacred things. Older women should be pious

The Black woman in America is in bondage and we allow Satan to keep her that way. African Americans will not rise until the Black woman is brought back to life. After the Civil War the chains came off but today we still are not free. No our wrist and ankles are not chained but our minds are. To the men reading this, we must learn to show our women, our sisters, our mothers the proper respect. God created man to be the stewards over all creation. To show disrespect to the gift

Jesus Christ called, and now that we're Believers are we trying to install a relationship with Him but don't feel we're making progress? If so, maybe it's because our basic relationship with Him is already there, and we're trying to institute something He's already established. A relationship with Jesus Christ is foundational for Believers, but it doesn't emanate from us; it began with an empty tomb.

The price for sin is death, but, in our place, a sinless Jesus paid that debt w

If a person is rich, gifted, talented, educated, privileged, clever, successful, in a high position, artistic and even good looking; whatever the case may be, that person should not lose touch with his or her human frailty. (Gal.6:1)

Ultimately the glory of all these attributes should be in the humility of those that possess them; 1 We should not trust in them. They are like paper Mache dolls that fall apart when handled. All these attributes, gifts and talents are like candy flo

Why We Suffer?

4neon.jpg
by Stephanie Reck

Use suffering to build your character. Don't resent it or let it tear you down. When we suffer, if we faithfully represent Christ, our message and example affect others for good. Our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. It is easy to get discouraged about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events to seriously. Some people think that troubles are always caused by sin or lack in faith, trails may be a part of God's plan for believers. Ex

On May 22, 2015, a woman Minister of God referred to men as containers bought by a woman whose contents are not known at the time of purchase. On arrival at home, opening of the containers reaveal the true contents. She said some women found beverages in their containers. Some women found sand in theirs; while many women found granite. Discoveries of women after marriage differ in respect of the true contents of their men.

This is true.

Are you surprised? I don't kno

As Christians we must have a foundation of sound doctrine to build a stable Christian life. A good sounding doctrine may not always be a right doctrine; we must check the spirit to see whether it's from man or God. And we must determine if what we are being taught lines up with scripture.

1 Timothy 6:3 (NKJV)
"If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness"

We live in a society where worth and value is measured by our possessions, position, and power. So many women struggle against the strain of trying to keep up and compare themselves to other women who seem to have it all. As women, we feel we are not worthy and valuable when what we do would be looked-down by most of society, hence the all too familiar game of comparison and feelings of being unworthy crouch upon us.

Especially for women, we can struggle as we try and find our
