Sometimes God starts talking to me about twenty things at once, or maybe that's just my own silly head having about 20 thoughts going on at once... Either way, I should just start putting them all down on paper. Right? Right! I hope my blog finds you totally honest. Hey, that is one thing I can attest to, not to put my business out there, but I can be totally honest with myself and being honest with myself means being real with the world and someone else out there is going

I've had a few different careers during my working life, and they seem to have one important thing in common. Each required specific technical training and skills in order for one to become competent. Accordingly, by way of building technology and management, I finally ended up as a professional teacher, having gone to a teacher's training college and graduated with a distinction.
Sometimes you hear things, but they do not resonate, they don't hammer home their impact w
Do you desire to build up your faith? A believing Christian needs to build up his or her faith in order to survive or succeed as a Christian. However, this is a big challenge to many, not knowing how to do so. This article points you to how to build up your faith through Christ.
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God - Romans 10:17 (NKJV).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we
There are many people calling themselves Christians, who follow the movement that is commonly known as the “social gospel.” According to this movement, the heart of the Christian faith is about bringing change to society by helping the poor, downtrodden and abused.
Those who follow this teaching have no time for the idea that people need to be saved from God’s judgment. In their view, although Jesus’ death on the cross served in some way to demonstrate God’s love, it was not a sacrifice for si
On May 22, 2015, a woman Minister of God referred to men as containers bought by a woman whose contents are not known at the time of purchase. On arrival at home, opening of the containers reaveal the true contents. She said some women found beverages in their containers. Some women found sand in theirs; while many women found granite. Discoveries of women after marriage differ in respect of the true contents of their men.
This is true.
Are you surprised? I don't know
"Already, I'm off my diet, skipped exercise class, snacked on chips, and picked up dinner at a fast food restaurant," she groaned.
How can the best intentions, the stoutest resolutions, and the firmest convictions fall so quickly by the wayside? Are we simply weak and self-sabotaging?
Why is it so hard to form healthy habits especially when we know as busy professional women that a successful health plan depends on adopting healthy habits and good intentions.
Is there anything we can do to
We live in a society where worth and value is measured by our possessions, position, and power. So many women struggle against the strain of trying to keep up and compare themselves to other women who seem to have it all. As women, we feel we are not worthy and valuable when what we do would be looked-down by most of society, hence the all too familiar game of comparison and feelings of being unworthy crouch upon us.
Especially for women, we can struggle as we try and find our worth and value

I called my first millennial leadership coaching group “The Joshua Initiative.” In the ancient world, a great patriarch, Moses, mentored another great leader, Joshua. This intergenerational mentoring relationship went on for approximately forty years before the mentee eventually became the leader.
As we see experienced, character-based leaders retire, we know that our world desperately needs young Christian leaders, like Joshua, to become valuable employees in the companies they work for and

A few years ago, a copier was donated to our church. I can imagine the process that brought it to us: Another congregation, frustrated with its finicky copier, wanted to buy a new one but felt guilty about junking something that still worked. So they gave it to us. We are a poor church, we can’t afford new things, and we were grateful. The copier makes

Do you desire to grow in the love of God? This is the will of God - that you be like Him in words, thought and deeds. Developing the love of the Lord in you empowers you to obey and live for Him at all times. This article tells you how to grow in God's love.
That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ wh
In Christianity, we find that many of the standard values of society are turned on their head. Things that are taken for granted by most people are often completely rejected in the Christian faith, and things that are rejected wholesale are frequently accepted with open arms. What it means to have a successful life is one example of this. Christianity and mainstream society could hardly be more different in their understandings of success in life.

The Relationship Between Knowledge and Wisdom.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
This verse suggests that Knowledge is in an extremely close working relationship with Wisdom. The wording of the sentence seems to shift focus from " the excellency of knowledge" to "wisdom", as if some connective wording between knowledge and wisdom is missing. Without question this
I often wonder what motivates us to stay productive. It's one thing to produce a positive result and yet another to consistently repeat that positive action. Only motivation, which comes from two sources, can keep us consistent.
1. Our own internal drive, self-talk and attitude. How we speak to and treat ourselves affects what we are able to accomplish.
2. External influence from family, friends, leaders and other people we look up to or hold in high regard. The advice
Fed up of living for others? Fed up of pleasing others? Life is too short to make it miserable by living in others footsteps. Time to free yourself from those dominating and toxic people, which do nothing less than dragging you to hell. You don't owe your life to them or they don't own your life. It is time to take a step away from them. They harm your mental health and cognitive thinking leaving you worthless and with low self-esteem.

In James 1:19 the apostle James tells his readers:
“Remember this, my dear friends! Everyone must be quick to listen, but slow to speak and slow to become angry.”
(Quotations of Scripture in this article are from the Good News Translation of the Bible.)
Being quick to listen and slow to speak is an important principle that every Christian should be trying to follow in various areas of life. All of us have surely fallen into the trap of not listening properly and speaking too

Recent conversations on social media and elsewhere have been sounding alarms on the toxicity of celebrity culture within the body of Christ. I was asked to chime in on the subject by sharing several ways that I practice personal accountability and attempt to protect myself from getting sucked into the celebrity quicksand.
Most of what I’ve learned in this area (and every other) I’ve learned the hard way, and I don’t pretend to have this one mastered.

This week, a PI Girl was expressing her honesty that she feels insecure at times in our culture that’s focused on appearance, selfishness and how we look.
