Do you know the difference between training and exercise? Well basically...
Athletes train. The average person (this is most of us) exercises.
Training is the conscious act of working through a pre-developed workout program with an end goal of achieving something. For example, an athlete could be training for a marathon, a new weightlifting meet, or even a CrossFit competition.
Exercising, on the other hand, is the basic act of getting active. In most cases, the goal here is to lose wei
The more you get done each day, the more success you can experience. You also give yourself the opportunity to have more free time, too. Time always seems to be in short supply. If you get more out of your day, you’re making better use of your time.
Stepping your productivity game up can have a positive effect on your professional and personal life.
Use these tips to get more done in less time:
- Plan. To get the most out of any day, it’s important to know what you’re going to do before t
You Are Not A Goon Part 1
I know I'll get called a hata’. But the truth is, this is not hate. It’s love. I could not tell you the truth if I didn't love you! The truth is, it’s the enemy's goal to keep you dumb, blind, and in bondage. Then he can control you. So he uses B.E.T, movies, and music to make you think that if you read books and try to better yourself you’re a “lame” or you’re trying to be white. That’s a lie! The enemy wants you to think if you call yourself a nigga, and the bad
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Rom 6:23
Another word for wages is cost or price. The price of sin is death. Many people have heard this statement before, but like Eve in the Garden of Eden, many of them fall for that old "You're not really going to die" trick. We mistake God's Grace period and actually think that we will never have to actually pay the price for sin. Don't get it twisted fam, payday always comes...and tho
The old adage “slow and steady wins the race” is actually sometimes true. The tortoise in the story of the tortoise and the hare won the race not because he was the smartest, smallest, or even wittiest. Rather, he won the race due to his laser-focus on the end result: the goal line.
If you struggle to keep momentum and motivation during your own quest to achieve a goal, you’re not alone!
Even though plateaus, setbacks, and relapses are completely normal when it comes to life-changing goals
God is faithful. We’ve all heard these words.
We’ve read them, said them, and sung them. And we’ve felt them.
God’s faithfulness is a palatable experience of his love. It’s his love tasted and seen in our history. It’s the mechanics of his love wired to fulfill his promises for our good. In fact, God’s faithfulness and his steadfast love are so closely intertwined that in Psalm 33 they’re basically the same.
The word of the Lord
My dream personal development looks like this:
1. Traveling whenever I want to even outside of Thanksgiving, Christmas & Spring breaks.
2. Volunteering at the local hospital on a random Tuesday without having to take vacation days.
3. Working with A team of people who are excited about Yahweh and dope christian hip hop.
4. Being fully self employed.
5. A deeper relationship with Yahweh the Father
It’s a lifestyle.
In this way we are like the various p
"The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love." (1 John 4:8)
"God is love." This sentence has been quoted over and over again, but have we ever considered what this actually means? Since God is love, the very essence of His being is love. If we do not love, we do not know God, for we cannot know God without receiving His love. We may know many things about God, but that does not prove that we know Him. Loving others is the proof that we know Him.

We often compare ourselves to people who have been working for years to get to where they are today.
Stop it!
The others with the “overnight success” or immediate results have been at this longer than you have.
They have had more time to grow and build.
Take your life one step at a time and do what you can with what you have, right now.
What you think shapes your life.
That’s because what you think shapes your behavior, which indirectly controls the way your life unfolds.
If you think you’re unlucky for example, then not only will you not take any chances, but you might also actually miss opportunities that appear. You’ll focus on things that go wrong, and this will make you feel worse about yourself.
If you think you’re bad at your job, you won’t speak up in meetings, you’ll keep your head down, and you might even be less pron
For the longest time, in the United States and elsewhere, educational policy makers bought into the idea of self esteem. Please understand that self esteem is a good thing. Nobody's disputing that. However, according to this educational policy philosophy, for students to perform well in life, they need to have their self esteem built up and encouraged early on.
Again, just like the observation that self esteem is a good thing, this seems pretty good on the surface. What's there to argue about. T
You are AMAZING.
You are BEAUTIFUL.
You are CAPABLE.
It’s so easy to get down on yourself because of comparisonitis or wondering why your last venture, meeting, post, email, or event didn’t go as well as you had planned.
It’s tempting to give up altogether-but don’t. Everyone goes through highs and lows whether you are an entrepreneur or at a corporate job.
But when everything doesn’t go exactly as you had planned, don’t let this change what you think about yourself.
You have accomplished
