Daily Devotional: Never Give Up

Welcome to today's encouragement. Today's reading titled never give up was written by Patricia Rabin. Time went by. War came in that's how Bishop Semi-Nego of the Kaliko people of south sudan described delays in his church's long struggle to get the Bible in their own language. Not one word in fact had ever been printed in the Calico language. Decades earlier Bishop Nego's grandfather had courageously started a bible translation project, but war and unrest kept halting the effort.

I say I want God to lead me, to guide me, and to direct my steps. Then, again, I lie a lot. Forget moral relativity. God's process of sanctification regards only one standard _ Him. What we would perhaps consider a "little" while seeking a liberal grading on the curve, so to speak, is actually an awful lot when measured against the Holy of Holies. Little lies are big ones.
