The Bible is full of wisdom, and it can be a great resource for anyone looking to live a wise life. Here are a few tips from the Bible on how to find wisdom:

  • Seek wisdom from God. The Bible says that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction" (Proverbs 1:7). If you want to find wisdom, you need to start by seeking it from God.
  • Study the Bible. The Bible is full of wisdom, and the more you study it, the more wisdom you will gain. The Bible is a

Women are strong and powerful creatures. You are capable of great things, both in your personal lives and in the world around you. But I understand, sometimes, you can feel weak and discouraged. You may feel like you can't do anything right, or that you're not good enough.

But the Bible teaches that you are strong and capable. You are called to be women of faith, hope, and love. You are called to be lights in the darkness, and to make a difference in the world.

In this devotional Bible study, we

And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and  faint.--Galatians 6:9, AMPC

Almost all of us true Believers in Christ have felt discouragement; thoughts of "Why bother? What you're doing is not making any difference. You're just wasting your time and efforts," etc.

I’m sure even the LORD Jesus felt frustration, and was tempted to give u

Learning to live above our circumstances requires a lifelong commitment to God’s Ways and a strong desire to mature and grow in Christ, and even with a degree of success, this countenance is not an easy one to sustain. Abiding under the safety of God’s Wing, as these Psalms so eloquently depict this spiritually sustaining metaphor, is an important key in reaching this life-changing pinnacle. For when we learn to trust Christ Jesus through all of our trials and tribulations

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.--Joshua 1:8, AMPC

"Meditation" is not some super-spiritual occultic practice. It's simply thinking about something over and over, and saying it.  We can take what our tendencies to worry, and convert them to po

13 If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself.--2 Timothy 2:13, AMPC

As the song "Way Maker" says, "Even when we don't see it, He's working...."! Hallelujah!

Only take heed, and guard your life diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes  have seen and lest they depart from your [mind and] heart all the days of your life. Teach them to your children an

Why do we worry?

For me, it just comes naturally. My parents were worriers.

My mind goes back to final days before Mom’s death. She was recovering from lung cancer surgery and we were making important decisions.

Plans for Dad to enter assisted living were finalized. At the age of 87, his health was declining; he needed care that Mom could no longer provide. His social security payments would cover monthly payments to a nearby Veterans group home.

Mom’s small social security check w

8 O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.--Psalm 34:8, AMPC

I was feeling a little weird, because Dad had transitioned to Heaven about 5 years ago, and my husband and I were going to take my disabled 80-year-old mom to visit his grave the next day.

God had delivered me of many wrong roots and negative emotions the past several years, and I knew Dad was at rest, and rejoicing, healed

You probably already know how having an unwavering belief in yourself improves your work life or even helps you be more confident in your everyday life. But were you aware of just how much having this kind of self-belief improves your relationships with others?

Think about these things:

1. You’ll be More Genuine

When we're unsure of ourselves, it's easy to adopt a persona, especially when around people we're hoping to impress. But how do others around you like the 'fake' you? Sooner or lat

Thought:  Most of us reading this would agree were living in troublesome times.  The last three years have made a grievous change in our lifestyle.  Mandatory vaccines, face masks, social distancing, closing of schools and churches, medical care compromised, and the list goes on like something out of a bad fiction movie.  A high percentage of the masses obeyed the rules coming from maniacal dictators behind the scenes whose goal was to turn America into a third world country.

Finding purpose in life starts with the understanding that Yahweh gave a value to us, that he didn't give to other creatures. While every living creature has purpose, he gave our lives deeper purpose and meaning. Something else that makes us different from other creatures, is that we have the ability to do something that benefits ourselves and others. So, in part, our purpose is to contribute to this world in a positive and significant way.

We should get a lot of satisfaction from helping others

The biggest secret to being happy is to be thankful!

Just start choosing to thank the LORD (as He commands in I Thessalonians 5), and you will soon starting thinking on things above, and remembering the goodness of God!

6 [And it is, indeed, a source of immense profit, for] godliness accompanied with contentment (that contentment which is a sense of [inward sufficiency) is great and abundant gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and obviously we cannot take anything o

Most people have no idea what they’d like to pursue or do with their lives. And this is not just high school graduates full of aspiring, wonderful dreams. In fact, it’s most adults; even after finishing school, getting a job and making steady money. There’s still room for clearly defining what their life purpose is.

In fact, it’s a conflict that often begins in adult life. Seemingly simple questions like “What do I want to do with my life?”, “What am I passionate about?” and “How can I make my

Have you heard any bad news this week, we are inundated by them. The media blasts us with waves and waves of them. Our friends and acquaintances peddle them. We live in a very large world, that is filled to the brim with unpleasant news. History is replete with tales of them, the present teams with them, and many do not believe in the possibility of a future that is not devoid of them.

The Book of Job puts it this way, man who is born of woman is a few days and full of trouble. It is almost as i

…2 For You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. 3 Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only TRUE God, and Jesus Christ, Whom Your have sent. ---John 17:2-3, Berean Study Bible

Don't you hate it when you do something good---and someone else gets the credit?

Think how the LORD, our dear God Who is Love (I John 4:8) must feel!

Not only has He not gotten the credit for all the good things He's do

If God is first in your life, everything can come into order. If God is not first in your life, nothing can come into order. And when I say everything comes into order, I don't mean that we won't have problems or tribulations. Jesus said,

"You will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

I don't mean that you won't ever have any problems, because we live in a fallen world. But what I do mean is that everything in your life can come into order, and you can walk through
