The five-year-old girl critically injured and left in a coma after a car crash involving Kansas City Chiefs’ assistant coach Britt Reid on Thursday night has been pictured for the first time, as she is named locally as Ariel.

Emmy- and Tony-winning actress Cicely Tyson, who distinguished herself in theater, film and television, died on Thursday afternoon. She was 96.

“I have managed Miss Tyson’s career for over 40 years, and each year was a privilege and blessing,” her manager, Larry Thompson, said in a statement. “Cicely thought of her new memoir as a Christmas tree decorated with all the ornaments of her personal and professional life. The FBI circulated an internal memo warning that a ‘war’ was coming to the Capitol the day before thousands stormed it but did nothing to stop it, it was revealed on Tuesday, as the bureau said nothing about its total failure to protect Congress for the sixth day running.
