It was around 11:00 PM. This was back during the time when I lived with my grandmother and Debbie was just a dream of mine. I had mentioned before the incident in which I had been awakened by a heavy weight laying on top of me. This was the same type of feeling only it wasn't a weight and I was wide awake, reading in my room. The room was filled with the presence of evil though I could see nothing. I knew that an evil spirit had entered my bedroom. The temptation to be afraid wa

SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESSFUL WOMEN

1. In everything you do, always put GOD first.

Many of us have a habit of putting other people first or putting ourselves before anyone or anything. This is what we are taught to do, but it is incorrect and it is damaging. Eloihim must always come first. Everything you do, whether at home or the workplace you must do for him. He comes before your spouse, your boss, your children, your customers. If you put GOD first, all

The Behavior of Women

Titus 2:3-5 teaches us how women, both younger and older, should act. And to be honest it is in direct contrast of we see in the home, workplace, classroom and community today. First lets discuss our older women. Older women are to be reverent and pure. They are to be set apart for the world in thought and behavior. They should only move and speak in the spirit of holiness and be focuses on sacred things. Older women should be pious

The Black woman in America is in bondage and we allow Satan to keep her that way. African Americans will not rise until the Black woman is brought back to life. After the Civil War the chains came off but today we still are not free. No our wrist and ankles are not chained but our minds are. To the men reading this, we must learn to show our women, our sisters, our mothers the proper respect. God created man to be the stewards over all creation. To show disrespect to the gift

Jesus Christ called, and now that we're Believers are we trying to install a relationship with Him but don't feel we're making progress? If so, maybe it's because our basic relationship with Him is already there, and we're trying to institute something He's already established. A relationship with Jesus Christ is foundational for Believers, but it doesn't emanate from us; it began with an empty tomb.

The price for sin is death, but, in our place, a sinless Jesus paid that debt w

Waller County, Texas, has had a complicated racial history since the days when it was a part of Mexico. At one of its first settlements, Bernardo Plantation, about 100 slaves grew cotton on  a large farm on the banks of the Brazos. Yet in the years before Texas fought Mexico for its independence, the area became a magnet for free blacks from elsewhere in the South who sought a welcoming home.

The messy, confusing double legacy of that history has persisted to the present, most recently embo

If a person is rich, gifted, talented, educated, privileged, clever, successful, in a high position, artistic and even good looking; whatever the case may be, that person should not lose touch with his or her human frailty. (Gal.6:1)

Ultimately the glory of all these attributes should be in the humility of those that possess them; 1 We should not trust in them. They are like paper Mache dolls that fall apart when handled. All these attributes, gifts and talents are like candy flo

An exasperated Sandra Bland left what is now a haunting voicemail on her friend’s phone shortly after seeing a judge.

“I’m still just at a loss for words honestly at this whole process,” Bland said on the message obtained byKTRK. “How did switching lanes with no signal turn into all of this, I don’t even know.”

The 22-second voicemail left July 11, is the latest piece of the puzzle that is still unclear as to how 28-year-old Sandra Bland went from being arrested during a traffic stop on J

Use suffering to build your character. Don't resent it or let it tear you down. When we suffer, if we faithfully represent Christ, our message and example affect others for good. Our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. It is easy to get discouraged about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events to seriously. Some people think that troubles are always caused by sin or lack in faith, trails may be a part of God's plan for believers. Ex

On May 22, 2015, a woman Minister of God referred to men as containers bought by a woman whose contents are not known at the time of purchase. On arrival at home, opening of the containers reaveal the true contents. She said some women found beverages in their containers. Some women found sand in theirs; while many women found granite. Discoveries of women after marriage differ in respect of the true contents of their men.

This is true.

Are you surprised? I don't kno

I want to let you know you are doing a great job fathers of the this great nation and worldwide, but there is more to be accomplished with our time here. We must beat the drum for Championship Fathering! As you know God has called us fathers to do more than stand on the sidelines and watch our families fall apart and fail. It truly is time for all us fathers to plant our feet in the ground and make a stand to guide the physical, mental, and spiritual destiny of our families. S

As Christians we must have a foundation of sound doctrine to build a stable Christian life. A good sounding doctrine may not always be a right doctrine; we must check the spirit to see whether it's from man or God. And we must determine if what we are being taught lines up with scripture.

1 Timothy 6:3 (NKJV)
"If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness"

We live in a society where worth and value is measured by our possessions, position, and power. So many women struggle against the strain of trying to keep up and compare themselves to other women who seem to have it all. As women, we feel we are not worthy and valuable when what we do would be looked-down by most of society, hence the all too familiar game of comparison and feelings of being unworthy crouch upon us.

Especially for women, we can struggle as we try and find our

There are myriads of problems confronting man. One thing is that humanity will always want solutions to those problems. Not only this, man has his own ways of solving problems according to the wisdom God gave him. However, man's ways are always different from God's ways and His ways are always better. His solutions are morin superior.

It is worthy of note that human problems are not caused by any other but they are self.inflicted. Man authors his problems.

For example, in th

On the same day Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family said she was moved to hospice care and that her life “is in God’s hands now,” Brown’s conservator accused her boyfriend of assaulting and stealing from Brown.

The civil lawsuit, filed Wednesday against Nick Gordon in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, alleges that Gordon’s behavior “caused, among other things, substantial bodily harm to Brown.”

It also claims that since Brown’s hospitalization in January, Gordon accessed her accounts
