I make choices that help me to lead a happy and healthy life.
I stay physically active. I exercise at least 3 days a week. I train for strength, flexibility, balance, and a healthy heart. I move more throughout the day by taking the stairs instead of the elevator and going for a walk during my lunch hour.
I eat a balanced diet. I choose nutritious whole foods for my meals and snacks. I eat plenty of vegetables and limit added sugar and salt.
I make sleep a top priority. I go to bed at the same time each night. I turn off my computer and television so I can enjoy soothing bedtime rituals.
I spend time with family and friends. I feel cared for and connected.
I manage stress. When something is bothering me, I talk about it with someone I trust. I unwind after work by listening to instrumental music or taking a warm bath.
I set goals. I give myself something to strive for each day.
I accept myself as I am. I know that I am worthy and whole.
I practice my faith. My christian beliefs give me a sense of purpose. I feel strong and inspired.
Today, I treat myself with kindness and love. I achieve wellness by taking care of my body and mind.
