You Are Not A Goon Part 1

I know I'll get called a hata’. But the truth is, this is not hate. It’s love. I could not tell you the truth if I didn't love you! The truth is, it’s the enemy's goal to keep you dumb, blind, and in bondage. Then he can control you. So he uses B.E.T, movies, and music to make you think that if you read books and try to better yourself you’re a “lame” or you’re trying to be white. That’s a lie! The enemy wants you to think if you call yourself a nigga, and the baddest b****, you’re keeping it real. That's a lie. You are what you think you are. Keep calling yourself these terms that were created and used to disrespect you, and you will be exactly what you say you are. A b**** is a female dog, look it up. That’s a nasty filthy animal. Is that what you are? Where is the honor in that? Where is the honor in being a Goon? And you can not take words that were created to degrade you and use them to mean something good. That’s a lie from the pit and you need to send that lie back to the pit where it belongs. You need to understand you are disrespecting yourself by calling yourself out your name! When you disrespect the creation, you disrespect the creator. Know who you are and what you are. You are YAH’s masterpiece! You are the workmanship of Elohim.

Masterpiece- showpiece; blockbuster, success; gem, jewel, prize, treasure...these are the synonyms (words that mean the same) for masterpiece.

God loves what He created, so shouldn't we too?

Your Creator looks at you and says “You don't always get it right, that's true, but I love you so much. Look in My mirror and see what I see; my beautiful creation; My treasure; My masterpiece. And the sooner you see yourself for who you really are, the sooner you can begin your reign as My priceless princess or prince with a purpose."

Ephesians 2:10  teaches that you are God’s workmanship.

We all are God’s workmanship, created in Yeshua (Jesus’ real name in his language). Christians experience two creations,  natural and spiritual. The spiritual birth is the point here. When a man believes in Yeshua, Elohim creates him in Christ. What does this mean?

It means that Elohim takes the spirit that was dead to him and brings it to life.

Spiritually you are born again.

Ephesians 2: 1-2 New American Standard Bible (NASB) Made Alive in Christ

1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,

2 In which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in our transgressions, He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)

What is that passage saying and what does it mean? It’s simple brothers and sisters...

  - It means that Elohim (GOD) places the nature of GOD into your heart.

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:4).

   - It means that God actually makes a new creature of the believer.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Cor. 5:17).

  -   It means that God actually creates a new person out of you.

“And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness” (Ephes. 4:24).

“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him” (Col. 3:10).

One of the reasons Elohim (GOD) gave you life is so that you can do good works. God saves man for good works not by good works. God’s workmanship is always a work of art. Check this out. Christians don’t create the beauty, and the work of art in his life. He just shows that he is God’s work of art by the life he lives. Works and your actions are evidence of salvation and who you serve. You prove who you serve by what you do, how you speak, and how you carry yourself. Real Christians will show you evidence of the power of a new life that is working in them. You have to understand, doing good works is not a choice for Christians; it’s how you are. If a man has been changed and transformed—if God really has worked in him—the man does good works. He cannot do otherwise. It’s not possible.  Now, I’m not saying he’s perfect. He will fail sometimes; but he keeps coming back to God and falling upon his knees, believing and asking forgiveness, and getting back up and moving on to do all the good he can. Like I said, it’s how he is. He’s been changed into a new person, created to do good works. Just like a tree, he bears the fruit of his nature.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

“That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Col. 1:10).

“That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate” (1 Tim. 6:18).

“In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity” (Titus 2:7).

“This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men” (Titus 3:8).

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works” (Hebrews 10:24).

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works” (James 2:17-18).

“Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evil doers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation” (1 Peter 2:12).

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).

GOD created us with intelligence, reasoning, and moral character. We think about a caveman when we think of first humans. That's what's taught in schools but this is a lie from the pit! The Bible teaches us that we had these qualities from the beginning.

What is the main purpose of man?

  • Dominion: God has given man dominion over the earth and nature. We have authority from GOD to rule over it. (Gen 1:28-29)
  • Stewards: What does dominion mean? It means that GOD created you to care for the earth and manage it! Men have to be faithful stewards (managers) of the power and authority given by God. (Gen 1:29)
  • Seek their creator: Acts 17:27: – God wants us to depend on him, seek him, reach out for him and find him.

Created in the Image of God:

  • Man is created in the image of God. (Gen 1:26-27, 2:7, 5:1, 9:6, Eph 4:24, Col 3:10)

When God created man in His image, man reflects what or who God is like, His attributes, His reflection. Just like the moon reflects light from the sun, you reflect the light for GOD. What type of life should we be reflecting from GOD?:

  • Personality: Ability to reason, think, choice, wisdom
  • Authority: Just as God has the ultimate authority over all things, God gave you the authority to rule and dominion over the earth and nature. (Gen 1:28-29) What if you left a person to watch your house while you went out of town. You would expect him to manage your house just like you would. You would expect your house to look nice when you got back. GOD expects you to manage the earth the same way brother.
  • Creativity: God gave man ability to create. Man can procreate.
  • Moral character: Ability to choose from right and wrong, good and evil, ability to make a choice.
