We face battles every day of our lives. As believers, the enemy is always out to get us. He is out to make our lives not worthwhile, but the Bible says that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but spiritual. So that means that we're not fighting a physical man or woman we're not carrying guns or bombs to fight a physical war. Now the moment you said yes to the gospel, you became an enemy to the devil. The enemy works through men to cause you to stumble or fall.
The reason why it seems like the odds are against you is simply because you're a bright and shining light. You are a light set on a hill that cannot be hidden and guess what light dispels darkness. Light means direction and a path of no confusion. The moment you believed what God did for you on the cross. You became a terror to the kingdom of darkness because you are light.
Jesus told his disciples that, as long as he is in the world, he is the light of the world. Now your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and this means that you are also the light in this world as a child of God. God is always leading and directing you, so you are very certain that no matter what happens, god will never leave you. His word says that he will always be with you till the very end, and this reminds me of the story of moses and pharaoh. Pharaoh hardened his heart and refused to listen to Moses.
He followed him to the red sea and was willing to make the children of israel slaves again and at that moment, at the red sea. The children of israel must have been wondering what to do. They were confused and they were wondering whether they were going to cross the Red Sea, but Moses lifted his eyes up to heaven and called on the one who could help him. The psalmist says I will lift up my eyes onto the hills from whence my help. Come my help comes from God, the maker of Heaven and Earth the moment moses believed that god could deliver them.
He parted the red sea and the children of israel passed through. Now. You would have thought that it was the end of their worries. Something miraculous just happened, but guess what the enemy kept on pursuing strange right. Remember that you are light and the enemy is always looking for a cause to bring you down. He's always looking for how to make you feel miserable or greater.
Is he that is in you than he, that is in the world pharaoh and his chariots, followed them into the red sea and were swallowed by it, and this shows that God wants to deliver his children from danger. It is never in his plan that anyone should suffer or be overcome by the evil one. His eyes are always on you to deliver you, and this reminds me of a song that says he spit the sea, so I can walk right through it. My fears are drowning, his perfect love. He rescued me so that I can stand and say that I am a child of God, no matter what happens, no matter what the enemy throws at you, god is always there to help.
The world is full of sin. It's full of hatred, it's full of hate and darkness. However, you are full of life, you're full of light and you're full of love. God's love is what caused them to come and save man from the power of darkness and god's love is ought to keep you to the end, because in a world that is full of darkness and hate, it is only the love of God that can save a man and can make him whole again, no matter how broken he is. The three hebrew boys were faced with a similar issue in the book of Daniel.
They were being persecuted for their faith. They were threatened that if they do not worship the king, they will be thrown into a fiery furnace. They chose to believe only in God and they were thrown into the furnace. That is 10 times hotter and they were not moved by what the enemy said. No, no, no, they put their hope in God and something extraordinary happened.
They did not burn in the flames because God came to their rescue and there was another in the fire standing next to them. Now, here's what happened they weren't burnt and the king was surprised. He caused men to worship, the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and there are many stories like that that tell of how god was faithful to rescue men when they were in need, and you, my dear friend, are not an exception. God is very much concerned about you, so what do you do now that you know the reason why the battle against you seems tough? You believe believing seems like a very easy word, but it is one of the hardest things for people to do.
It is hard for people to see how good and gracious God is because they feel overwhelmed, and sometimes people do not believe that God will change their story because they're looking at their capacity, so stop looking at your capacity, stop! God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think or imagine. There is no impossibility with god say this to yourself and believe it in your heart. God will only move if you let him move, and this can only be done by faith and if you do not believe nothing is going to happen. So will you just be a person, that's tossed toe and fro about the circumstances around him?
What i'm trying to say is: you must learn to put your trust in guard like putting your eggs in one basket. You can always pull your eggs in one basket and when it comes to trusting god, it's not a risk, it's a necessity. It is telling god that your logic can fail. You, your abilities, can fail you in fact, other men's abilities can fail you, but he can never fail and that's a fact because this god is never changing. He is god all by himself, so learn to trust.
God. No matter how small the issue is, or no matter how big the matter is, because God is always looking out for you, because you are his child and when you believe god you pray. Prayer is one of the tools that god has given us to change our lives. Prayer does not change god. Neither does it change his mind, but no prayer changes you and guess what it does.
Also it brings God to the scene. So, no matter what you go through in life always learn to see the faithfulness of god instead of worrying about what to wear and what to eat. Pray that he will provide. The many stories in the bible that tell of how god takes care of those that love him. The Bible says that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard. Neither has it entered the hearts of men, the thing that god has prepared for them, that love him, don't worry, because god has a plan for you, and this plan is good and not evil.
This plan ensures to give you a hope and a future. So do not, let fear in because fear cripples faith. Fear elaborates on your inadequacies and weaknesses and never on God's ability. So, instead of seeing god's power, you will be seeing your own power and fear makes a problem, look only bigger, rather than being afraid, trust, God and rest in his word. You can rest in his word by constantly meditating on it to meditate means to constantly bring something to your mind.
It could be positive or negative, and if it's negative, you will constantly worry about your problems and worrying, but not solve your problems. Rather, it would only make it look bigger in your eyes, but meditation is positive when you focus on god's word. Focusing on God's word will mean that you are focusing on what his word says about you. You are feeding your mind only on his promises that never fail. The mind is like a soil, and what you saw is eventually what you will reap when you think about negative things when you think about hate, when you think about worry, when you think about anxiety, it only bring a negative atmosphere and it will be reflected in How you speak, you will notice that you only speak negative things about yourself.
You will only see the negative things are happening around you and when you choose to speak God's word, you say Lord. I know this and this is happening, but your word says, and so I rest in your word, you will notice that you will speak only words that will bring life to the situation. Your heart will be full of joy. The Bible admonishes us that whatever things are noble, whatever things are just whatever things are godly and of a good report, meditate on those things and the peace of God will flood your heart.
