``God, it's not that big of a deal , everyone else, does it, no one will even know the difference. .'' So often when confronted by choices, we rationalize. why? Our way is right. Even if it's wrong or raises questions, perhaps it isn't fair to others. Maybe you know it isn't healthy for you or your family or it's simply not what God wants for you. Even if it's not morally wrong scripture says that, though we may think our decisions are right, God is weighing our hearts. It's a good reminder that there's no fooling him he's peering into our innermost desires to see. what's at the root of our choices.
Are we acting out of love for God and others, or out of selfish, gain out of faith or out of fear out of jealousy or contentment? If God is concerned with the motive of each of our plans, shouldn't we be too even if we think we're right in what we do. We should examine our reasoning behind the plans we make. There may be nothing morally wrong with our plan, but God may have something else in mind for us. Ask god to help you examine your heart and flush out. Your motives accept his grace for selfish plans and commit to God's loving ways.
