N-O-T-H-I-N-G, absolutely nothing has the power to keep us away from the Love of The Father! The sooner we grasp that the better off we will all be! Too many times the enemy uses people, things and situations in an attempt to get us to shift our focus of God's Love for us. He tries to convince us to clean ourselves up before we come to God, or better yet He tries to use the hurtful words and behavior of others to wound and discourage us into quitting. I want to remind you today that GOD LOVES YOU! He went all out and paid a great ransom to redeem & restore you! Don't let anyone or anything try to convince you otherwise.So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture: They kill us in cold blood because they hate you. We're sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I'm absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us. -Romans 8: 31-39
Real Talk, there will probably be people who will talk about you for choosing to follow God...Let em talk! There will be people who will try to discourage you from going forward with God...let them do them and you keep moving! Keep your focus on Jesus Christ and The Love of God! Remember that God is faithful and just and He will never leave or forsake you. So wherever you are right now make the decision to get up and stand up. Be all that God has called you to be...and do it without apology! When you see people trying to stop ya...don't trip, just tell them "You can Do Dat...but Imma Do It Christlike! Ya heard!
Today's Challenge: Focus on The Love of God today! Look around and begin to appreciate all that he has done for you, and keep doing it until that Love overwhelms you and begins to influence every word thought and deed! Let that Love fill you up until you begin to see people the same way God sees them as valuable, worth dying for and worth redeeming!
