Have You Ever Felt Like You've Wanted To Start Life Over Again? I Know I've Thought About It. If You Could Begin Again, What Are Some Things You Would Do Differently? Now, We May Not Be Able To Go Back In Time, But Every Person Has An Opportunity To Begin Again To Experience Life The Way God Intended. This Was The Powerful Invitation That Jesus Extended To A Religious Leader In The Third Chapter Of John. In Explaining What It Meant To Experience Life As God Intended, Jesus Hyperlinked An Old Testament Story To His Conversation With Nicodemus.
The Story Highlights How Israel Grumbled Against Moses, And How God Punished Them With Snakes Biting Them. Some People Died From The Bites And Others Were Going To Die If They Did Not, By Faith, Look At The Bronze Snake On The Pole That God Told Moses To Make. They Looked And They Lived. The Point Jesus Was Making To Nicodemus Was That, Though Everyone Has The Poison Of Sin Coursing Through Their Veins, God Loves Them Deeply. God So Loved His Creation That He Gave His Son To Die On The Cross, And Everyone Who Looks By Faith On Jesus Will Have Eternal Life And Not Perish. You See, When We Gaze By Faith On God's Provision, The Poison Of Sin Will Be Taken Away And We Will Have Life, The Life Of God. When We Look At The Cross, We See A God Who Loves Us And Wants Us To Live Life To The Full.
The Giving Of Jesus And Him Dying On The Cross For Our Sins Is The Most Profound Expression Of Love The World Has Ever Seen. He Wants To Give Us Life, A New Kind Of Life That Begins Again Now And Continues Throughout Eternity With God. I Want To Closed This Time A Little Differently. I Want Us To Pray Together. Would You Pray With Me? Father, Thank You For This Christmas Season. Thank You For This... The Inexpressible Gift Of Jesus You've Given Us. And As We Go Through This Christmas Season May We Be Reminded That This Is A Gift From You That We Can Experience Not Only In Eternity, We Can Experience It Now. Thank You For Jesus.
