"This track is a reminder and an encouragement that God is God! He is Faithful and Present.  Our situations and circumstances do not change it. David encouraged himself and at times we need to remind ourselves of what we know to be true of the Lord and that if he never gave us another thing He is too good not to praise, worship and trust."

Do you wake up feeling grateful for the new day? Do you feel excited about the opportunities and possibilities that await you? Do you have a positive mindset that helps you overcome any challenges or difficulties that may come your way?

If you answered yes to these questions, congratulations! You are already living a blessed life. You are already tapping into the power of gratitude and optimism that can transform your reality. You are already enjoying the benefits of a happy and healthy lifestyle.

But if you answered no, or maybe, or sometimes, don't worry. You are not alone. Many people struggle with finding the motivation and inspiration to start their day on a high note. They may feel tired, stressed, bored, or unhappy with their current situation. They may lack the confidence, the passion, or the purpose to pursue their dreams and goals.

That's why I'm here to tell you that every day is a blessing. Every day is a gift from God, the universe, or whatever higher power you believe in. Every day is a chance to start fresh, to learn something new, to grow as a person, to make a difference in the world. Every day is an opportunity to create your own happiness and success.

How do you do that? How do you make every day a blessing? How do you find the motivation and inspiration to start your day with enthusiasm and joy?

Here are some tips that I use and that have helped me and many others:

🟣 Start your day with gratitude. Before you get out of bed, think of at least three things that you are grateful for in your life. It can be anything, big or small, such as your family, your friends, your health, your job, your home, your pets, etc. Express your appreciation for these blessings and feel the warmth and love in your heart.

🟣 Start your day with affirmations. After you get out of bed, look at yourself in the mirror and say some positive statements about yourself. These are called affirmations and they can help you boost your self-esteem, confidence, and mood. For example, you can say "I am beautiful", "I am strong", "I am capable", "I am worthy", etc. Repeat these affirmations until you believe them and feel them in your soul.

🟣 Start your day with prayer and meditation. Before you get busy with your tasks and responsibilities, take some time to sit quietly and focus on your breathing. This is called meditation and it can help you calm your mind, relax your body, and connect with your inner wisdom. You can also use this time to pray, to visualize your goals, or to listen to some soothing music.

🟣 Start your day with exercise. After you finish your prayer and meditation, get moving and do some physical activity. This can be anything that makes you sweat, such as jogging, cycling, dancing, etc. Exercise can help you improve your blood circulation, oxygen intake, muscle tone, and energy level. It can also release endorphins, which are natural chemicals that make you feel happy and motivated.

🟣 Start your day with breakfast. After you finish your exercise, nourish your body with some healthy food. This can be anything that gives you the nutrients and fuel that you need for the day, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, etc. Breakfast can help you prevent hunger cravings, boost your metabolism, and improve your brain function.

These are just some of the ways that you can make every day a blessing. Of course, you can customize them according to your preferences and needs. The important thing is that you do something every morning that makes you feel good about yourself and about life.

Remember: every day is a blessing. Every day is a new beginning. Every day is an adventure.

So don't waste it. Don't take it for granted. Don't let it pass by.

Make it count. Make it meaningful. Make it yours.

And enjoy every moment of it!

  • How can you empower and support those under your leadership?

4. Leading by Example:

Introduction:

Hello, fellow believers! As we start this new week with a fresh perspective, I want to delve into a topic that's integral to our spiritual and personal growth: embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. The challenges we face in life are not meant to hinder us but rather to shape us and strengthen our faith.

The Nature of Challenges:

Challenges are an inevitable part of life. They come in various forms, testing our resilience and determination. Some challenges may be external, such as financial struggles or health issues, while others may be internal, like overcoming doubt or fear. Regardless of their nature, challenges are opportunities for us to grow.

Embracing Challenges:

When we encounter challenges, our first instinct might be to resist or avoid them. However, this approach often leads to stagnation. Instead, we should embrace challenges with an open heart and a spirit of growth. By doing so, we open ourselves up to the transformative power of God's grace.

Learning from Challenges:

Every challenge we face carries a valuable lesson. It's through these experiences that we learn about our strengths, weaknesses, and areas where we need improvement. Challenges can also deepen our dependence on God, leading us to surrender our burdens and seek His guidance.

Turning Challenges into Opportunities:

Here are practical ways to turn challenges into opportunities for growth:

  1. Seek God's Perspective: Approach challenges with a prayerful attitude, asking God for His insights and guidance. His perspective can help you see the bigger picture and find hope in difficult situations.
  2. Cultivate Gratitude: Amidst challenges, remember to focus on the blessings in your life. Gratitude shifts your perspective and helps you appreciate the good even in difficult circumstances.
  3. Trust in God's Faithfulness: Remember that God is faithful, and His love for you is unwavering. Trust that He will see you through your challenges and use them for your ultimate good.

Conclusion:

As we embark on this Motivational Monday, let us embrace the challenges that come our way with faith and a spirit of growth. Remember, every challenge is an opportunity for us to draw closer to God, learn valuable lessons, and emerge stronger and more resilient. May this week be filled with the courage to face challenges and the joy of experiencing God's transformative power in our lives.

Stay blessed, and keep growing in your faith journey!

There have been a number of research studies supporting the fact that living a life of gratitude can provide you with numerous health benefits. There are some physical and mental health benefits from having an attitude of gratitude which we will discuss in this article.

When you make a transition to a gratitude based life it will take time, effort and persistence so when you are aware of these health benefits it will inspire you to keep on going. We think that you will be pleasantly surprised at some of the health benefits that you will find below so let’s get on with it shall we?

1. You will become more Patient

Patience is a virtual and severely lacking in the “instant gratification” world that we live in today. There was a research study conducted at Northeastern University where they found that people who practiced gratitude on a regular basis tended to be a lot more patient than those that did not.

It is really important to have more patience in your life because it will make you think more long term and you will be able to make better decisions. So practice your gratitude every day so that you can develop this very important trait.

2. An Attitude of Gratitude will improve your Relationships

When you are able to express true gratitude to the important people in your life you will find that your relationships will be a lot stronger. You will create a much better connection with your partner and your friends and family.

The Journal of Theoretical Social Psychology published a recent study to support this. They found that people that expressed gratitude regularly to the people that they love achieved a lot more satisfaction in their relationships. So be grateful to your partner and improve the most important connection that you have in your life.

3. Practicing Gratitude regularly improves your Sleep

When you express feelings of gratitude, particularly just before you go to bed at night, you will tend to fall asleep quicker and sleep for longer. If your head is full of negative thoughts then it will be harder for you to fall asleep whereas the positive thoughts created by gratitude will have you sound asleep in no time.

You will feel a lot more calm and relaxed after expressing your gratitude. If you have a gratitude journal, which you definitely should, then be sure to make entries into it before you go to sleep. Getting a good night’s rest is essential for good health.

4. Gratitude reduces Depression

If you suffer from depression then practicing gratitude is a good way to reduce it. Each morning and evening think about 3 things to be grateful for and write these down in your gratitude journal. Be sure to add the reasons why you are grateful for them as well. In a short time you will find that you are a lot happier and less depressed.

5. Gratitude creates lasting Happiness

There are many things in life that can give you a “happiness boost” such as eating sugar based foods. But these are temporary happiness highs that are soon over. When you have an attitude of gratitude you can feel happy for longer periods of time. It is more sustainable because of the strong emotion that is associated with gratitude.

It is not difficult to cultivate an attitude of gratitude. You do not need to invest in any expensive equipment – all you need is persistence and the willingness to transform your life for the better.

So start today so that you can experience these health benefits as well.

What does it take to motivate yourself? You set goals, make plans, get excited, but then procrastinate when it comes time to do something. Many of us are cursed with the ability to feel good about the planning process, but awful about acting on those plans. There’s a disconnect that few people understand how to address.

Master this ability and you can do anything. However, if your ability to tie your planning and action phases together is poor, you’ll struggle immensely.

Enhance your motivation and your results in life:

1. Give your attention to those things under your control. You can’t control much, but there’s no reason to focus on anything else. Doing so will only lead to feeling overwhelmed. For example, receiving a promotion isn’t under your control. The behaviors that improve your odds are under your control.

  • Put your time, energy, and attention on the things you can manipulate. Avoid wasting your resources on anything you can’t influence.

2. Find a purpose that inspires you. Going into work on Saturday to complete a report might sound like the least enjoyable way to spend part of your weekend, but if excelling at your job could lead to the promotion you’ve been dreaming of, it’s easier to be motivated.

  • Most people don’t like to work out, but the prospect of being healthier and more attractive is motivating to many people.

  • Avoid judging the task or activity in the short-term. Think about what you’ll get out of it down the road. Find a way to take inspired action.

  • Your inspiration might be a product of what you’re doing for others. How does your goal benefit others?

2. Focus on small wins. If your goal is to lose 50 pounds over the next year, it’s easy to become burned out. After two hard weeks of hitting the gym, avoiding late night snacks, and drinking only water, you’ve lost a total of two pounds. You’re right on schedule, but you realize that you have 48 weeks and 48 pounds to go. It seems like too much to bear.

  • Break the goal up into smaller pieces. Depending on your ability to focus, it might be necessary to break up the goal into segments that last anywhere from one week to 12 weeks. This way your brain can experience success and logically see a positive long-term outcome. You’ll procrastinate if the path looks too challenging.

3. Act first. It’s a mistake to wait for motivation to strike. You might find yourself waiting for a long time. Avoid thinking too much about the work to be done. If you wait too long to get started, procrastination becomes more likely. Before you can stop yourself, get started. You’ll find that motivation is easier to experience after you’ve acted.

  • Every minute you wait under the guise of “planning” or “strategizing” saps what little motivation you may already have. Jump up and get busy!

4. Enhance your mood. It’s much harder to be motivated when you’re in a bad mood. Studies have shown that a negative mood increases procrastination behaviors.

  • Procrastination enhances your mood in the short-term, but at the expense of the future. Put yourself into a better mental state and procrastination becomes less likely to occur.

  • Happiness increases productivity and success. Monitor your progress. Research suggests that nothing is more motivating than progress in a meaningful endeavor.

Without motivation, you can make spectacular goals and plans and still come up short. Learning to manage your motivation is a key component of accomplishing great things. Motivate yourself and you can do anything.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the challenges and struggles in your life? Do you sometimes feel like giving up or losing hope? If so, I have some good news for you: God is on your side and He will fight for you!

The Bible tells us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of heaven, who has power and authority over all things. He is able to deliver us from any enemy, any problem, any situation that we face.

But how do we let God fight for us? How do we trust Him to take care of our battles? Here are some practical steps you can take to experience His victory in your life:

🟣 Surrender your situation to God. Tell Him everything that is bothering you, hurting you, or worrying you. Don't hold anything back. Give it all to Him and let Him take control.

🟣 Pray and praise. Ask God for His wisdom, guidance, and protection. Thank Him for His love, grace, and faithfulness. Praise Him for His power, majesty, and glory. Worship Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.

🟣  Stand on His promises. Find scriptures that relate to your situation and meditate on them. Declare them out loud and claim them as yours. Remind yourself of what God has said and done in the past and what He can do for you today.

🟣 Resist the enemy. Don't let the devil lie to you, tempt you, or discourage you. Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and fight back with the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Rebuke him in the name of Jesus and he will flee from you.

🟣 Wait on the Lord. Don't try to fix things in your own strength or wisdom. Don't get impatient or anxious. Trust God's timing and His ways. He knows what is best for you and He will work everything out for your good (Romans 8:28).

Remember, you are not alone in this battle. You have a mighty God who loves you and cares for you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He will fight for you and give you the victory. Just let go and let God!

Hello, dear friends! Welcome to another edition of our motivational Christian devotional blog. Today, I want to talk to you about a very important topic: how to rise strong in the face of challenges and difficulties.

We all face trials and tribulations in our lives. Sometimes, we may feel like giving up, losing hope, or doubting God's plan for us. But I want to encourage you today with this powerful truth: God is with you, and He will help you overcome anything that comes your way.

The Bible says in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." This verse tells us that when we put our trust in God, He will give us the strength and the courage to rise above our circumstances and soar to new heights.

How do we do that? How do we rise strong when we feel weak, discouraged, or afraid? Here are three practical steps that can help you:

  1. Remember God's promises. God has given us many promises in His Word that can inspire us and reassure us of His love, His power, and His faithfulness. For example, He promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), to work all things together for our good (Romans 8:28), and to give us peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Whenever you face a challenge, remind yourself of these promises and claim them by faith.

  1. Rely on God's grace. God's grace is His unmerited favor and His enabling power that helps us to do what we cannot do on our own. We don't have to rely on our own strength, wisdom, or resources to rise strong. We can rely on God's grace, which is sufficient for us and made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Whenever you feel overwhelmed, ask God for His grace and receive it by faith.

  1. Rejoice in God's goodness. God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good. Even when we don't understand what He is doing or why He is allowing something to happen, we can trust that He has a good purpose and a good plan for us. We can also thank Him for the good things He has already done for us and the good things He will do in the future. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." Whenever you face a problem, praise God for His goodness and thank Him for His provision.

Happy New Year, sisters in Christ! I hope you had a blessed and joyful holiday season with your loved ones. As you enter 2024, I want to share with you some tips on how to be a woman of wisdom in this new year. Wisdom is not just about knowledge, but about applying God's word and principles to your daily lives. Here are some ways we can grow in wisdom this year:

🟣 Seek God first. The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). To fear God means to honor Him, obey Him, and love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Try to make it your priority to spend time with God every day, through prayer, worship, and reading His word. He will guide you and teach you His ways.

🟣 Listen to wise counsel. God has given you mentors, friends, family, and church leaders who can offer you godly advice and encouragement. Be humble and willing to learn from them, especially when you face challenges or decisions. Proverbs 12:15 says that the way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.

🟣 Be a blessing to others. Wisdom is not just for ourselves, but for serving God and His people. Look for opportunities to share God's love and truth with others, whether it's through our words, actions, or gifts. Proverbs 11:25 says that whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

🟣 Trust God's plan. Sometimes you may not understand why things happen the way they do, or what God is doing in your lives. But you can trust that He has a good and perfect plan for you, and that He works all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Don't lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

These are just some of the ways you can be women of wisdom in 2024. I pray that God will fill you with His wisdom and grace as you seek Him and follow Him this year. Remember that He loves you and has great things in store for you. You are His precious daughter, and He delights in you. May you have a wonderful and wise new year!

Happy New Year, dear readers! I hope you are feeling blessed and excited for the new opportunities that God has prepared for you in this year. As we start this new journey, I want to share with you some words of encouragement and inspiration from the Bible that can help you stay motivated and faithful throughout the year.

One of the verses that I love to meditate on is Philippians 4:13, which says: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This verse reminds me that no matter what challenges or difficulties I may face, I have the power and the grace of God to overcome them. He is my source of strength, my helper, my guide, and my friend. He is always with me, and He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Another verse that gives me hope and joy is Jeremiah 29:11, which says: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This verse assures me that God has a good and perfect plan for my life, and that He is working all things together for my good. He knows what is best for me, and He will fulfill His promises in His time. He has a purpose and a destiny for me, and He will lead me to it.

A third verse that inspires me to live with gratitude and generosity is 2 Corinthians 9:8, which says: "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." This verse teaches me that God is the source of all blessings, and that He is able to supply all my needs according to His riches in glory. He is not stingy or limited, but abundant and generous. He wants me to enjoy His gifts and to share them with others. He wants me to be a channel of His grace and love in the world.

These are just some of the verses that I like to read and reflect on as I start a new year. They fill me with faith, hope, and love, and they motivate me to live for God's glory. I encourage you to find your own favorite verses and to memorize them, meditate on them, and apply them to your life. They will be a source of strength and guidance for you as you face the challenges and opportunities of this year.

May God bless you abundantly in this new year, and may He fill you with His peace and joy. Remember that He loves you more than you can imagine, and that He has great things in store for you. Happy New Year!

Deborah was a remarkable woman in the Bible who served as a prophetess, a judge, and a leader of Israel. She was the only female judge mentioned in the Bible, and she led the Israelites to victory over their enemies, the Canaanites. She also composed a song of praise to God for the deliverance he gave them.

What can women learn from Deborah's life and example? Here are some lessons you can apply to your own lives as Christian women:

- Deborah listened to God's voice and obeyed his commands. She did not hesitate to speak God's word to others, even when it was challenging or unpopular. She trusted God's promises and followed his guidance. Yo can also seek to hear God's voice through prayer, reading his word, and listening to godly counsel. You can obey his commands and share his truth with love and courage.

- Deborah used her gifts and talents to serve God and others. She was gifted with wisdom, leadership, and prophecy. She used these gifts to judge the people fairly, to rally them for battle, and to glorify God through her song. We can also discover our gifts and talents and use them for God's glory and purposes. you can serve him in your homes, churches, workplaces, communities, and wherever he calls you.

- Deborah was a woman of faith and courage. She faced a powerful enemy with confidence in God's power and presence. She encouraged others to trust God and join her in the fight. She did not let fear or doubt stop her from fulfilling God's will. you can also be women of faith and courage, knowing that God is with you and for you. You can face your challenges and trials with his strength and peace. You can inspire others to follow him and join us in his mission.

Deborah was a woman who loved God and served him faithfully. She was a blessing to her nation and a role model for us today. You can learn from her example and seek to be women who listen to God, use your gifts, and have faith and courage.

How can we grow in faith, love, and joy as we follow Jesus? Let's dive in!

The book of Proverbs is a treasure trove of wisdom for everyone, including women of God. It contains practical advice on how to handle various situations, such as relationships, finances, work, parenting, and more. It also reveals the benefits of living wisely, such as peace, security, honor, and happiness. But most importantly, it shows us the source of true wisdom: the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the Lord is not a scary or negative thing. It is a reverent and respectful attitude toward God, who is our Creator, Savior, and King. It is acknowledging that He is the ultimate authority over your lives, and that He knows what is best for you. It is trusting that He loves you and has good plans for you. It is obeying His commands and following His guidance. It is worshiping Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.

When you fear the Lord, you are able to access His wisdom for every situation you face. You can ask Him for direction and discernment when you are confused or uncertain. You can rely on His promises and power when you are afraid or discouraged. You can learn from His correction and discipline when you make mistakes or sin. We can enjoy His presence and blessing when we praise Him and thank Him.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). It is the foundation for living a life that pleases God and honors Him. It is the key to becoming a woman of wisdom.

So how can you cultivate the fear of the Lord in your lives? Here are some practical steps we can take:

- Read and meditate on God's word daily. The Bible is full of wisdom that can help you navigate through life. It reveals who God is, what He has done, and what He expects from you. It also shows you how much He loves you and cares for you. As you read and meditate on God's word, you will grow in your knowledge and understanding of Him, which will increase your awe and reverence for Him.

- Pray and listen to God's voice daily. Prayer is our lifeline to God. It is how we communicate with Him and express our needs, desires, praises, and confessions. It is also how we hear from Him and receive His guidance, comfort, encouragement, and correction. As you pray and listen to God's voice, you will deepen your relationship with Him and align your will with His.

- Obey and follow God's will daily. Obedience is the evidence of our fear of the Lord. It shows that we trust Him and submit to Him. It also demonstrates our love for Him and gratitude for His grace. As you obey and follow God's will, you will experience His peace and joy in your lives.

- Worship and praise God daily. Worship is our response to God's greatness and goodness. It is how we honor Him and glorify Him. It is also how you enjoy Him and delight in Him. As you worship and praise God daily, you will cultivate a heart of gratitude and admiration for Him.

Sisters,  be women who fear the Lord and seek His wisdom every day. Be women who live wisely in this world and shine His light to others.  Be women who become more like Jesus every day.

Hello, brothers in Christ! Today I want to share with you a Christian devotion for men that is inspired by one of my favorite movies, "300". You may be wondering, what does a violent and bloody movie about ancient Spartans have to do with our faith? Well, let me tell you, there are some powerful lessons we can learn from this film and apply to our lives as followers of Jesus.

First of all, the movie "300" is about courage. The Spartans faced overwhelming odds against the Persian army, but they did not back down or surrender. They fought with bravery and honor, knowing that they would probably die. They were willing to sacrifice everything for their freedom and their people. As Christians, we are also called to be courageous in the face of adversity. We face many enemies in this world: sin, temptation, evil, persecution, etc. But we have a greater King than Leonidas, and that is Jesus Christ. He has already won the ultimate victory over death and the devil, and he gives us his Spirit to empower us to overcome any challenge. We are not afraid of anything, because we know that God is with us and for us. We are ready to lay down our lives for his glory and his kingdom.

Secondly, the movie "300" is about loyalty. The Spartans were loyal to their king, their comrades, and their code of honor. They did not betray or desert each other, even when they faced certain death. They stood together as one, united by a common cause and a common bond. As Christians, we are also called to be loyal to our King, our brothers and sisters in Christ, and our gospel. We do not compromise or conform to the world's standards, but we hold fast to the truth and the grace of God. We support and encourage each other, especially when we face trials and tribulations. We are not divided by denominations or doctrines, but we are one body in Christ.

Thirdly, the movie "300" is about endurance. The Spartans endured incredible hardships and sufferings during their battle against the Persians. They endured hunger, thirst, fatigue, wounds, pain, and death. They did not give up or lose hope, but they persevered until the end. As Christians, we are also called to endure hardships and sufferings for the sake of Christ. We know that this world is not our home, but we are pilgrims and strangers here. We know that our present troubles are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. We know that God is working all things together for our good and his purpose. We do not complain or despair, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that they produce perseverance, character, and hope.

Brothers, I hope this devotion has inspired you to live more courageously, loyally, and enduringly for Christ. The movie "300" may be fictional, but the reality of our faith is more amazing and more powerful than any Hollywood film. We are not just 300 men, but we are millions of men who belong to the army of God. We are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. We are not fighting for a piece of land, but for the eternal kingdom of God. And we are not fighting alone, but with the Lord of hosts as our leader and protector.

So let us put on the full armor of God, and stand firm in the evil day. Let us fight the good fight of faith, and finish the race with joy. Let us be faithful unto death, and receive the crown of life.

And let us remember the words of King Leonidas: "Spartans! What is your profession?"

We are Christians! And we live for Christ!

Are you ready to take your faith to the next level? Do you want to be a woman of God who shines with His glory and grace? If so, you need to know these five principles that every godly woman does!

  1. She loves God with all her heart, soul, mind and strength. She puts Him first in everything and seeks His will above her own. She delights in His word and meditates on it day and night. She prays without ceasing and trusts Him in every situation.  (Mark 12:30, Matthew 6:33, Psalm 1:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Proverbs 3:5-6)

  1. She loves others as herself. She is kind, compassionate, forgiving and generous. She serves others with joy and humility. She respects her husband and submits to him as to the Lord. She nurtures her children and teaches them the ways of the Lord.  (Mark 12:31, Ephesians 4:32, Luke 6:38, Galatians 5:13, Ephesians 5:22-24, Proverbs 31:28, Deuteronomy 6:7)

  1. She takes care of herself. She knows that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and she honors God with it. She eats healthy, exercises regularly, rests well and dresses modestly. She avoids anything that would harm her physically, emotionally or spiritually. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 1 Timothy 4:8, Psalm 127:2, 1 Timothy 2:9-10, Romans 12:2)

  1. She uses her gifts and talents for God's glory. She is faithful in the little things and God entrusts her with more. She is diligent, creative, resourceful and productive. She does everything as unto the Lord and not for men. (Matthew 25:21, Proverbs 31:13-27, Colossians 3:23-24)

  1. She rejoices always, prays continually and gives thanks in all circumstances. She has a grateful heart and a positive attitude. She does not complain, murmur or grumble. She does not worry, fear or doubt. She has the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Philippians 4:6-7

These are the five principles that every godly woman does! If you want to be one of them, start applying them today and watch how God will elevate you!

What does it mean to be a great man? How can we live up to the standards that God has set for us in His Word? In this devotion, we will look at three things that great men do, based on James 5.

  1. Great men are patient and persevering (James 5:7-11). James uses the examples of farmers, prophets, and Job to show us how to endure hardship and suffering with patience and faith. He reminds us that the Lord is coming soon and that He is compassionate and merciful. Great men do not give up or complain, but they trust in God's promises and timing.

  1. Great men are honest and truthful (James 5:12). James warns us not to swear by anything, but to let our yes be yes and our no be no. He says that anything more than this comes from the evil one. Great men do not lie or deceive, but they speak the truth in love and integrity.

  1. Great men are prayerful and powerful (James 5:13-18). James encourages us to pray in every situation, whether we are suffering, cheerful, sick, or in need of forgiveness. He says that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. He also urges us to confess our sins to one another and pray for one another, so that we may be healed. Great men do not rely on their own strength or wisdom, but they seek God's will and power through prayer.

Brothers, let us strive to be great men who follow the example of Jesus Christ, who is the greatest man of all. He is  our Lord, our Savior, our Brother, and our Friend. He is the one who gives us grace and strength to do these three things and more. Let us honor Him with our lives and glorify Him with our actions. Amen.
