Being thankful is something that might seem simple, but tough for many to frankly express it. This the very reason why Viola’s thankful efforts will make her unique in the entire Oscars’ history

At the 89th ‘Annual Academy Awards,’ Viola Davis won the, well-deserved Best Supporting Actress Oscar for the role she played as ‘Rose Maxson’ in Fences.

As soon as Davis took the stage, everybody knew they were to have a heck of speech.

In her acceptance speech, the proud mother and wife thanked her daughter and husband for their undying support.

“To my husband and our daughter ‘my heart’,” Davis said while shedding tears. “You and Genesis, you always teach me how to love and how to live. I am so glad that you are the ‘foundation of my life.’ Thank you to the Academy.”

Prior to the speech, Viola shared a sweet picture on Instagram with her two favorite colleagues, and it is guaranteed to make your soul smile.

“My family. Thank you, everybody, for your support and love!” she posted.

Davis and her spouse, Julius Tennon who is fellow actor, wedded in 2003. It was three weeks after Viola prayed a special prayer for ‘love to come into her life.’

“I was the loneliest lady in the world, till someone said, I should just pray for a ‘husband,’” Davis revealed. “I prayed that I wanted a ‘big black man’ from the South who appeared like a football player, and who already had children, (maybe had been married before) about three weeks down the line; I met my husband.”

The two love birds adopted their daughter–Genesis in October 2011.
