Introduction
If you want to get on in your music ministry you are going to have to overcome some challenges. I know what it is like to be the new Christian rapper among the “brethren.” They treat you as the new guy. I’ve been there and everybody that has been around me has been there too.
So this is going to be a two part series of how God will use you to earn respect among His people, deliver others, and glorify Him through overcoming challenges. All these things will help you grow if you use these lessons to build your music ministry or business wisely.
The Challenge
In 1st Samuel 17:1-25 (fast forward to today); the Holy Hip-Hop community was ready to battle some of the hip-hop artists out in the world. If you have ever read, listened to, or watched my message called, “What is ‘Holy Hip-Hop?’ Introduction Pt 3 – Identify the Players on the Field”, I talk about many of the symbolic characters in David’s life that you can use to see who God could be referring to in you own life. In this particular story I will mention some of those possible characters.
