In the war for talent, Apple has just scored a major victory.
The tech giant and eventual streamer has inked a multiple-year content partnership with Oprah Winfrey. Under the pact, terms of which were not immediately available, Winfrey and Apple will create original content that will be released as part of the latter’s lineup of content. Sources say the pact includes everything from film, TV, applications, books and other content that could easily be distributed on Apple’s all-encompassing platform. Sources note that Winfrey landed at Apple in a competitive situation with other tech giants, likely including Netflix and Apple, all pursuing similar deals. Apple is said to have aggressively pursued Winfrey as part of a larger push to reach a broad audience.
After three years of writing, developing, and preparing new music, Sareem Poems and Ess Be are back with Mind Over Matter. Releasing via Illect Recordings, Mind is the second full length project from the Lansing, Michigan-based MC and producer duo. Their first album on Illect, 2015's Beautiful Noise, was a highly motivational record based around positivity and perseverance. Mind Over Matter is definitely in the same vein as Noise, but it's clear that as they worked on the new project, Poems and Ess Be weren't afraid to dive deeper into who they've become as artists.

Swoope’s Sonshine
Sonshine is the Akron born rapper’s fourth album and is right on par with KB’s instant classic, Today We Rebel. Swoope address some tough societal issues, issues often times avoided by Christian artists espcecially when it comes to race and the Black Lives Matter movement. In an interview with Kick The Concrete, Swoope goes into the meaning of the album.
Target apologized and pulled a Father’s Day card off its shelves after it drew the ire of customers nationwide for racial insensitivity.

Introduction:
It is becoming more and more popular to blame Christianity, God, Jesus, and/or the Bible for just about anything that “goes against the grain” these days. Quite frankly, it's ridiculous. As the title of this article makes clear, the topic I am specifically addressing in this piece is women's rights. Those who blame Christianity and/or the Bible do so without a proper knowledge of Scripture, the culture at the time, history, and they lack hermeneutical and exegetical capabilities. For the most part, they tend to do a few things: they take certain verses out of context, they use verses that don't even mean what they assume them to mean, they blame the actions of some on an entire group, or they simply parrot what they have heard or read. President Donald Trump announced a new branch of the U.S. military, the “Space Force,” during a National Space Council meeting Monday. He directed the Department of Defense and the Pentagon to “immediately” begin establishing the force, which will focus on outer space. “Our destiny beyond the Earth is not only a matter of national identity but a matter of national security,” Trump said. He first mentioned the idea during a speech in March. If the Space Force is created, it would be the sixth branch of the armed forces. The newest branch is the Air Force, created 71 years ago.

According to a recent report, a Yola High Court presided over by Justice Abdul-Azeez Waziri has sentenced five men to death for culpable homicide and for killing a Fulani herdsman. The convicts, Alex Amos, Alheri Phanuel, Holy Boniface, Jerry Gideon and Jari Sabagi of Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State, are going to be hanged because according to Justice Waziri, they were found guilty of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide which contravened Section 96 and Sections 79 and 221 of the Penal Code of Laws of Adamawa State, 1997.
