Introduction
What’s good everybody!
We are back again in what looks to be a five part series on what leadership looks like from the CEO chair of a record label. Well, actually from any of the music businesses out there. We are not just talking about the record company. So if you have a hip-hop magazine with a team of people working towards fulfilling the desires of the Lord’s heart, then I am talking about those who are doing most of the deciding and guiding of your company or creative arts and entertainment ministry.
I am not really going to re-introduce what we are doing. So I will just say that if you want to know what’s up then you will need to go back and read part 1 in this series called “The Davidical Record Executive Pt 1 Shepherd Leadership.” (Click link to read).
Leadership Provisions
Let’s talk a little bit more about his leadership anointing. God has grace such a leader from this verse, with three specific fruits to produce.
The first one is that I shall not want. That word “want” in the Hebrew means, “to lack; by implication, to fail, want, lessen:–be abated, bereave, decrease, (cause to) fail, (have) lack, make lower, want.”
In a true anointing Kingdom music business their might be time at the beginning that they are lacking the things they need to get what they are called to do done. And I know exactly what that feels like to start out with absolutely nothing. It’s rough! But what I have found to be true about God is that He is truly Jehovah-Jireh. What that means in the Hebrew is that, “The Lord will see to it” or that He is our Provider.
