The Christian man should…
- Hate all evil (v. 9)
- Be glued and locked into good (v.9)
- Love with brotherly affection (v. 10)
- Be forward to honor others (v. 10)
- Never be lazy or careless (v. 11)
- Maintain zeal and excitement to the boiling point (v. 11)
- Put your life into service for Yah, even if you don’t receive personal gain and applause (v. 11)
- Show Patience during your problems and situations (v. 12)
- Live in constant Prayer to Yah (v. 12)
- Contribute and give to needy Christians (v. 13)
- Make A practice of hospitality (v. 13)
- Pray for your enemies (v. 14)
- Celebrate the blessings of others without being jealous (v. 15)
- Show real compassion for others (v. 15)
- Be united with your brothers; Live, Think, Act and do as one with your brothers (v. 16)
- Don't be shady and scanless to be rich and powerful (v. 16)
- You are who you associate yourself with. Only Associate yourself with humble and godly people that move through life without the flash noise and parade (v. 16)
OK, let's talk about it. How should Christians treat other Christians? How should we act? The word hypocrite in the Greek language comes from the word 'hypokrites', which means "an actor." But Romans 12:9-10 teaches us that we must love without hypocrisy. That's what dissimilation means. Without hypocrisy or play-acting. A person actually means it when he says “I love you.” It’s not an act. It’s for real. He doesn't just say it to get money, power, and attention.
OK so how do we show this genuine love to each other? Well, there are four ways to do it.

- Poverty
- Suffering and disease
- Greed
- Corruption
- Godless education and ignorance
- Division in families
- A Christian brother loves by staying glued to good things. Cleave in Romans 12:9 means join or fashion together, to attach to, cement or glue together. You want to be stuck to A good thing and good people.
- A Christian Brother Loves by being kind and affectionate toward other Christians. Now the word affectionate here means, The love existing between family members. The Christian body is a family and Yahweh wants us to love each other like a family. And remember what we already talked about. It has to be real. It can't be fake.
- A Christian brother loves by giving preference to other Christians. This means he takes the lead and sets the example in honoring and showing respect to other Christians.
OK, let's move on to Roman’s 12:11. A Christian brother should never approach life in a Lazy lackadaisical manner. Naw homie, Lazy, and slow-moving does not work. You need to be on fire! To take it a step further, Romans 12:11 teaches that you need to be “fervent in spirit.” Fervent here basically means hot. Again, we should be on fire!
In Romans 12:12 We learn that we are to conquer trails and situations. We will all face problems, suffering and pain. But we will beat them when we do these three things…
- The Christian brother is to rejoice in hope. Our hope is in Yahweh and Yahweh will do one of two things. Remove the situation or move us through the situation. So we have faith that Yahweh has our back and will deliver us and we celebrate in that hope, even before the victory!
- The Christian brother is to be patient during his situation.
- The Christian brother is to constantly pray. Going through things is not easy. But you receive power and strength from Yah when you pray to him regularly.
Ight let’s move on to Romans 12:13. Did you know we should help meet the needs of our brothers and sisters unselfishly? Oh yeah! We are to give generously and share with those in need. And we are to also show hospitality to each other. Open the doors of your home to your Christian brothers and sisters in need. You may have a brother or sister at church that needs a place to stay. Peep 1 Timothy 5:2 and Titus 1:8. Yup we need to use hospitality to minister and without (Rom12 :13, 1 Pe. 4:9)

Ok so, “the body” Your body! You are to present it to Yahweh as a living sacrifice. It will be his body. Now let me tell you something that might trip you out. Yahweh is not interested in your money, your time or your skills, Nah homie, He is interested in you, your body. There is only one gift that makes the redeemed creator happy, and that is the redeemed creation.
Ok, now when you do this, give your body to Yahweh, you will not be conformed or molded in the ways of this world. Conformed. Let’s talk about this word for a sec. If you look it up in an English dictionary, you will see that
