Some of the big reasons I believe why the Pharisees' did not or did not want to recognise Jesus Christ as their Messiah, was they were in love with themselves, not God. They took pride in their intellectual knowledge of the Old Testament and the power it gave them over the people. History always repeats itself. I believe if Christ came as He did the first time to us, the churches would be the very first people to put Him to death as they did long ago. I really believe that.

People who suffer with too much legalism in the way they serve God, you will find them, so physical in their thinking, because legalism blinds them and makes them so deaf they cannot recognise the voice of God. They are the people who persecute the saints and in the past often had put them to death. The Religious spirits are one of the most stubborn demons, according to John Eckhardt who has at least thirty years being in the deliverance ministry. He says that the religious spirit gets the person to reject change and growth and there is a lot of that going on in the churches. Many people will accept corrupt changes, but the ones that God wants people to accept they often will not accept, have you noticed? Jesus tells us He knows His sheep and they know Him. Because they recognise His voice and they follow only Him. A stranger they will not follow. Throughout the Church history as with the days of Our Lord, people have always crucify God's prophets, always has and always will, until Jesus comes again to reign on earth during the thousand years of peace.

Matthew 5; 11. 'Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 5; 20. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Serving God, you have to prepare to take risks. If you refuse to come out of your comfort zone and refuse to fight the good fight, you are doing exactly what Satan wants of you. I know we all have different callings and I respect that, but it doesn't matter what your calling is, we are still in a fierce war and you can't ignore it if you want to enter the kingdom of God. So whatever the fight God has place before you, it is going to cost you everything, if you are to succeed. You leave the outcome to God. It is your loyalty that God wants. It is God's fight not yours, but He still wants you to persist in you doing your part. The world loves its own. The world thinks God's ways are foolishness, one reason being it sees everything through the eyes of power, lust, greed, domination, idleness, quick fixes, get quick rich schemes, etc. And etc. They do not respect the wisdom of love and self-control over the flesh.

Religion attracts Satan's attention because he has found a way to draw people away from hearing the voice of God. Look at history. Many and many people will and have used the Holy Bible to control another. Look at how it has control the poor, the weak and the vulnerable. Why did the women's liberation movement, took such a whole in the first place? I understand and I think you do to where they were coming from, even though they went about it in the wrong way. If instead all the women came together in Jesus's name with the problem; fasting, praying and being a good example to the men. God would have been truly glorified, because only He has the power to convert and save us from our sins. Sin begets more sins.

Love and mercy is the very essence of what Jesus and His prophets teach. Why was Jesus crucified as well as most of His disciples? The religious leaders of His day were legalistic in their approach to the things of God. They couldn't see past laws, not understanding why the laws were put there in the first place. When Jesus healed on the Sabbath, instead of rejoicing at the love and mercy of God, they wanted Him dead. How's that for gratitude? You can't tell me that all God's religious teachers and priest and so on are all going to heaven or are going to meet Jesus in the air at the rapture. I watched a show on Sid Roth one day, a women he was interviewing went to hell with Jesus and she saw a line of preachers, women and men dropping into hell one after the other with their bibles. Teachers of God's word are going to be chastise with greater strictness than any other. Paul even says why do you want to be a teacher? I got a prophecy from the internet in the year 2008. I think you still can get it as a small book. It was called back then "Jesus Loves You." One subject was titled "the churches are Like Prisons." Because it goes onto say the churches teach doctrines of limited enlightenment restricted to a confined set of rules and beliefs. Down further it says "I cannot be confined within a doctrine or belief system." He says "If you want to know Me better, open your mind to thoughts of My Unconditional Love, which is My Infinite Dynamic Glory.

Religious leaders who treat religion too legalistically would truly hate it if the lay people would be truly be led by the Holy Spirit, because they would no longer be in-control. In other words Satan would be kicked out and only God peoples will be in-charge of God churches. The path to our eternal home is going to be of trials and errors. No human is never going to be trick from time to time, but if we are genuinely seeking to please God in all humility and love, God will come to our aid and teach us where we are going wrong.

I found when I was first interested in becoming a Catholic, I wanted to be sure I was meant too. So I had a serious of short lessons with a priest. Explaining me about the beliefs of the Catholic faith. At one point he wanted me to learn about something that I can't now remember, that I felt it was not necessary, because I told him that I have learnt it ever since I was a small child. He grinned and shock his head and if to say 'that doesn't mean a thing.' So I was real frustrated with him and said 'I use to teach Sunday school.' He immediately became embarrassed and was humbled. The thought that I came away with, the religious leaders don't seem to want you to ever get out of kindergarten when it comes to spiritual growth. If we grow that means they must have to grow too and it seems many of them do not want too.

I believe in the power of prayer and I believe it is extremely important and we be mad if we do not do it everyday.
