Super Bad Worship
[Read/Study 1st Samuel 17:49]

The Scriptures say,
“And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” (1st Samuel 17:49).
The Message Bible says,
“David, who was talking to the men standing around him, asked, ‘What’s in it for the man who kills that Philistine and gets rid of this ugly blot on Israel’s honor? Who does he think he is, anyway, this uncircumcised Philistine, taunting the armies of God-Alive?’”
I’m pretty sure that everybody or most of us has seen that movie Superbad with Jonah Hill and Michael Cera. I know! It’s not a very good movie to use as an illustration. But what I want to point to with a lot of the characters throughout the movie that the number one central theme that the Spirit impressed on me was what?
