Slate 2 Tablet PC from HP Means Business

Slate 2 Tablet PC from HP Means Business

The newly released HP Slate 2 tablet PC aims to fulfill the needs of different business niches including the government, healthcare, education and retail sectors. It is particularly useful in business as it is able to be moved around allowing for some freedom in the office rather than being stuck at a desk 24/7. Its lightweight design also allows for easier mobility.

The security measures in place are state of the art ensuring data protection. There is a TPM embedded Security Chip which locks down all programs whether it is Microsoft Office or email accounts. There is also the ability to delete all intimate data from its system remotely, in case it is lost or stolen.

The HP Connection Manager installed monitors any incoming or outgoing communication from Bluetooth, Ethernet or Wi-Fi. It is tailored specifically with business in mind.

With its 8.9 inch multi-touch screen which allows for both stylus and touch input, the HP Slate 2 is quick at bringing up your data on the spot. It comes with Windows 7 pre-installed and also has a camera and webcam which can allow for exchange of videos (such as those from conferences) and photos.

The Intel Z670 processor with mSATA SSM technology allows the tablet to have a long battery life of around six hours as well. It is also a faster working PC as a result.

Other features of the tablet include a USB port and microphone or headphone port. Also included is a power port which allows for the tablet to connect to other accessories such as the HP Retail Point of Sale case for retail outlets.
