Sanctified to the Lord...

1 Timothy 4:5, "For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer."Sanctification is defined as being set apart for sacred use; to make holy or purify. The Holy Bible strongly promotes sanctification or consecration to the Word of God throughout the scriptures as a means of giving Christians the insight into the mind of God, and His true purpose for your life. Constantly having the Lord on your mind and obeying exactly as the Bible states, will free us from the confines of this natural world and into the true Kingdom of God. Especially in a time when the things of the world will tell us things that are negative in the sense of the economy, physical health, and personnel security. Reverence the Holy Scriptures, due to the fact that God can has set apart those who truly believe and has blessed them for their faithfulness, as stated in Deuteronomy 2:7, "For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing." Never allow the enemy tell you other wise as to what your life will be, based to the fact that God always looks out for His children in good times and in bad times and the natural world has no jurisdiction on the actions of a supernatural God. Jesus preached this message in Luke 21:34-36 in saying, "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." This is why we hold onto the Word of God because the more we believe and strengthen our Faith, based on what God says and not the world. We see His true plan for our lives, scripture states in John 1:12, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." The Lord knows our needs based on Hebrews 4:14-16, "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Lastly Romans 8:1 states, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." I pray for more and more strong Christian believers to follow not the news of this world, but the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and sanctify themselves to His Godly attributes through the Holy Bible!
