[Luke 1:57-80]

Did you know God uses the Prophetic to speak forth, birth, affirm, confirm, release, counsel and many times even appoint and ordain the Apostolic?

It took me a while to see this pattern once the Lord whispered it too me. I had to go back through the Old and New Testament to see if this were true. And I noticed this was all over the word. Here are some examples:

Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying, To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over My people Israel, that he may save My people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon My people, because their cry is come unto Me. And when Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said unto him, Behold the man whom I spake to thee of! This same shall reign over My people. Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over His inheritance?” (1st Samuel 9:15-17; 10:1).

“And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Beth–lehemite: for I have provided Me a king among his sons. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth [shepherds, pastors] the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.” (1st Samuel 16:1, 11-13).

“Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [Permit] it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered [permitted] him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway [immediately] out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I AM well pleased.” (Matthew 3:13-17).

“Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate Me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.” (Acts 13:1-3).

“Neglect not the gift that is in thee [in the Apostle Timothy], which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the [obviously prophetic] presbytery [Gk: ‘the order of elders (Five Fold Leaders)’]. Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my [the Apostle Paul’s] hands. Paul, and Silvanus [Silas], and Timotheus [Timothy], unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Nor of men sought WE [Paul, Silas, and Timothy] glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when WE [Paul, Silas, and Timothy] might have been burdensome, as the APOSTLES [PLURAL] of Christ.” (1st Timothy 4:14, 2nd Timothy 1:6, 1st Thessalonians 1:1; 2:6).

I have given five of my favorite examples of the prophetic bringing forth the apostolic as God’s way of doing things. So it should be apparently obvious that it is the prophet’s fault for restoring the apostolic ministry and the apostolic office to the Body of Christ—the Church of the Living God! You churches should have never kicked the prophets out of your fellowship. They cried unto the Lord and the Lord answer their prayers by sending the Church this ministry that was thought to only end with the Twelve and Paul (Which would actually make 13 apostles. Someone PLEASE explain that one).

Crying Prophets

We all know for a fact through Scriptures that once the Church or People of God start crying to God, God answers their prayers and cries and sends them deliverers through the form of human agents. You cannot deny that fact. It’s all over the Word.
