For Better For Worse is back on OWN and actors Michael Jai White and Tasha Smithhave had some experience playing husband and wife. They were a couple in both of theWhy Did I Get Married movies. Their characters proved to be so popular that Tyler Perry spun them off into a TV show.
White and Smith say it easy for them to play a married couple. although both are married to other people in real life, because they’re good friends. And yes, at one point, they dated.
“Yes, that’s true back in the Stone Age we did,” says White.
If it bothers their current spouses that the two have spent so much time onscreen playing husband and wife, it hasn’t show up so far.
