Your First Ministry and Disciples are Your Family Members

This is Part 4 in this series on restoring the Tabernacle of David (the local churches by making disciples of our regions) and bringing the Ark (presence, power, principles, and praise) of God back so we can put it in Solomon’s Temple (the corporate Body of Christ globally), that the glory of God (2nd Coming of Christ) may come down on it and fill it until the priest (the individual members of the Body) can no longer stand in it to minister.
In this section we are going to cover a few things. We are going to talk about:
1. Marriage Life
2. Single Life
3. Children
4. Youth
5. Other Family Members
Let me first start (as always) by adding MIC Assembly Network’s old mission statement and new mission statement in this area.

THE FAMILY WE VALUE — It is our vision of restoring the Body of Christ–the Family of God around the family. It is where worship, fellowship, discipleship, stewardship, ministry, leadership, and evangelism start at home. God said that a man/woman must be able to take care of his/her own family before trying to take care of the Family of God. And we believe that the legacy and future of the church starts at home: discipling up our families as leaders to take over the ministry when elder leadership passes away or are unable to physically do ministry anymore. This insures that God’s work continues on down to the next generation.

OUR FAMILIES — It is our vision of restoring the Body of Christ–the Family of God around the family. As King David’s family came down to him in the Cave of Adullam and he incorporated them in his ministry so shall we. And just as David brought back the Ark (presence, principles, power, and praise) of God back to the Family of God, then blessed his own family, so shall we. — (King David, 1 Sam. 22:1; 2 Sam. 16:17-20).
2. Marriage & Single Life – If you are married, the next important relationship is to your spouse. If you are not married, then your other family members should come next. (The opposite effect is Adultery)
3. Children & Youth – If you have kids, then it’s obvious that they come next. And if you don’t have kids, then go scoop up a couple kids, nephews, nieces, cousins, little brothers or your little sisters and mentor them. If none of these then go to where the kids are and take them away from that negative environment and disciple them. (The opposite effect is child abuse {emotional, physical, financial, etc})
