After the success of Black Panther, actors Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira will be teaming up once again. According to reports, the pair is adapting Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s best-selling novel Americanah into a TV miniseries. The story is a tale of two star-crossed lovers from Nigeria. Gurira signed on to write the script for the adaptation.

This venture will mark the third time the actresses have worked together. Oscar winner Nyong’o earned a Tony nod  for her work in Eclipsed, a play written by Gurira.

News broke in 2014 that Nyong’o had obtained the rights to the book and would be turning it into a film. Now we know that the novel is being made into a miniseries co-produced by Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B. Nyong’o previously worked with Pitt and the production company on 12 Years a Slave. David Oyelowo, famous for his role in Selma, has signed on to star in the drama.
