Jameis Winston threw for 396 yards and two touchdowns in the defending national champion Florida State’s spring game, leading the Garnet team to a 31-14 victory over the Gold team Saturday.

The Heisman winner completed 27 of 55 passes, throwing a 6-yard touchdown pass to Rashad Greene and a 12-yarder to Jesus Wilson. Winston also threw an interception.

The No. 1 offense played for the Garnet team, while the No. 1 defense was on the Gold roster.

Fullback Freddie Stevenson was the lone effective runner with 85 yards and a 6-yard touchdown run on 18 carries. Running backs Karlos Williams, Mario Pender, Dalvin Cook and Ryan Green were all out for the game.

Ro’Derrick Hoskins returned an interception 63 yards for a score for the Gold team.
