Identify the Players on the Field

David and His Mighty men

David and His Mighty men

Since I am uniquely gifted for the music, specifically, hip-hop ministry, industry, and culture, that’s where I want to continue speaking about from here on out.

The first question we need to ask is who are the players on the field?

If we are Davidical Arts ministries, then who were the players on the field in David’s life that we have to deal with in our time? The Scriptures were written to show us how to handle these same situations.

“Now ALL these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for OUR ADMONITION [Gk: 'calling attention to, i.e. (implication) mild rebuke or warning:--to reprove, caution, remind of obligation or duty, etc'], upon whom the ends of the world [‘eons—ages’] are come” (1st Corinthians 10:11).

“Now these things were OUR EXAMPLES, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted” (1st Corinthians 10:6).

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for OUR LEARNING, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” (Rom. 15:4).

“This shall be written FOR THE GENERATION TO COME: and the people which SHALL BE [FUTURE] created ['... put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that CREATED him.' (Col. 3:10) & '... ye put on the new man, which after God is CREATED in righteousness and true holiness.' (Eph. 4:24)] shall praise the LORD.” (Psalm 102:18).

So who are some of the players? A player can be a person, a group of people, an evil spirit, or some kind of system that is hindering our blessings that God has for us.
So I want you to sit down with yourself, with your family, your Davidical arts team; whether you are in film, music, creative arts, dancing, design, etc., and take out a pen/pencil and think about some of the characters in David’s life that you might have to face.
