Gradual Increase is Just Sooo Much BETTER

By Ricardo Butler

My Dad said on four different occasions,

“The little that a man of character has is far better than the wealth of the compromising. (Psalms 37:16, Revelation Of Christ’s Kingdom).

“Better is little with respect towards the LORD Jesus than great possessions with trouble. (Proverbs 15:16, ROCK).

“Better is little with godly morals than to increase much in financial income in an unethical manner. (Proverbs 16:8, ROCK).

“Better is ruined cereal and peace among family, then to have a house full of Thanksgiving feast with bitter conflict and competitiveness. (Proverbs 17:1, ROCK).

Now what He said above doesn’t mean that being poor is a blessing. It just means that, “He that is faithful IN LITTLE is faithful in much” in comparison to the unfaithful in little that became unfaithful in much.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. (Luke 16:10).

I’m still speaking on contentment for those who coming in on this message. Being content with little is another form of being faithful in that which is least. It’s the same principle.

My brother said,

For I have LEARNED, in whatsoever state I am, therewith TO BE CONTENT. I know both how to be abased [be faithful in little], and I know how to abound [be faithful in much]: every where and in all things I am INSTRUCTED [Gk: ‘to initiate, i.e. (by implication) to teach:--instruct, taught’] both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can [by FAITH] do ALL THINGS [‘all things that pertain unto life AND GODLINESS’ (2 Pet. 1:3)] through Christ which strengtheneth me [by the POWER of His Spirit]. (Philippians 4:11-13).

The reason why I have been sharing on the topic of being “content” is because I believe it is the starting point for anyone that God is calling to function in the business realm or to handle large sums of money in their business or ministry calling. And part of that contentment comes by being faithful.
