Gifted producer and artist Germaine Martel is ready to make HISstory!
His first single for HISstory Music Group, titled "Jesus", will be available for purchase via digital outlets on December 1, 2017. A new full length album, Human 3: The Holy Trilogy, is scheduled to follow in 2018. Germaine Martel says, "The name of Jesus in itself holds so much power. I wanted to proclaim my love, honor and respect for him in a way that was bold and without question. I wrote and produced the song. The record features Ceej and Fee-lo. It contains a sample from Kanye West's "Jesus Walks" but I wanted to put my own spin on it."
HMG creator Dee Black says Germaine Martel approached him about producing a full length project and joining HISstory. "We built a true relationship outside of music. Integrity and trust are big within our movement."
A native of Florida, Germaine Martel comes to HMG with an already established and respected reputation. Martel's talent fits perfectly with the ideal HISstory Music Group is built upon. "I feel that Germaine is one of the most talented artists I have ever worked with," Black says. "Our main goal is to have [our music] centered around the gospel but at the same time create something that has a spirit of excellence with its lyrics, its music, everything."
On joining HMG, Germaine says, "I joined Hisstory Music Group because of the brotherhood through discipleship that was built over time with Dee Black and Mouthpi3ce. I think they understand me not only as an artist but a person as well. They really see my vision and I believe they truly want to see it come into fruition. I'm honored to be a part of the team."
