For those of you who love your Galaxy Note or “phablet”, today is one special day for you all. Samsung finally announced it, which makes many of you happy. However, the Samsung Galaxy Note II will not be released in the US right away and you will all need some patience and wait. Yes, I know, sad day for you all.

The lucky places first receiving the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be:

  • Parts of Europe
  • Korea
  • Asia

Samsung released this statement in regards to the Samsung Note II release in the US:

“Samsung Mobile is planning a U.S. version of Galaxy Note II, which will be available later in 2012. Building on the success of the original Galaxy Note, we’re confident that the Galaxy Note II continues to redefine what consumers should expect from their smartphone and delivers a powerful, innovative and unique experience. Exact timing and retail channel availability is not being announced at this time, we will continue to share information as it becomes available.”

Rumors are starting to be spread that October may be the possible month of release for the Note II, but again don’t hold that as a solid date. The Galaxy Note II is also not going to be on all carriers like the Samsung Galaxy 3 was.

  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • Quad-core 1.6 GHz processor

  •  Samsung S-Pen with S-Pen Technology
  • Bluetooth Version 4.0
  • 2GB of RAM

Today should be a good day for those that have been long awaiting the Samsung Galaxy Note II!
