F – Words 1. Faith (Heb 11:1-6). People look to Hebrews 11:1 for the definition of Faith. Faith is believing all GOD is and says despite what others may teach. When you hope for something because GOD exist and has promised it, that is faith. Faith is not… a. “I think so, I hope so” b. “It may be so, it may not be so” c. “it may be true, it may not be true True authentic faith has its reward and that’s GOD’s approval – he is pleased! When we trust him and believe he will give us what he promised us he is pleased. When have confidence that he will look after us and give us victory over all things he’s is pleased. In the Bible Cain was a man that went to GOD, he had religion but not faith. Enoch believed Elihim and walked with him. He was with out sin. The closer you walk with GOD, the stronger you faith will be. So now the question is “how do I develop authentic faith?” Well Hebrews 11:1 teaches us we develop faith by practicing hope, or hoping for something and claiming it because GOD has promised it. We also develop faith by earnestly seeking GOD according to Hebrews 11:6. One thing must be understood. GOD will not reward sinful, carnal trust or doubting. 2. Fear (LK 8:22-25). Look at the question asked by Yahsua in Luke 8:25, “where is your Faith?” By sleeping during the storm Yashua demonstrated the absolute necessity for his people to have faith in GOD. He rebuked his followers for there lack of faith. Lack of faith is a very powerful weapon used by Satan. It can cause you to deny Christ! 3.Fellowship and Forgiveness ( Eph 4:31-32). Bitterness, rage and anger all hinder our relationship with our brothers and sisters, which hinders our relationship with GOD. What your brother or sister did to offend you is not important. It is hypocritical to ask for forgiveness from Elihim, who we have never physically seen when cant forgive our brothers or neighbors who we see everyday. It is GOD’s desire for us to edify each other and build each other up. 4. Focus Means “ Point of concentration.’ Ask yourself “what am I concentrating on in the work place, in the church, in your marriage or with family and in school. In each of these areas, your Focus is to be on GOD. With genuine faith you can over come all things. Understand and remember fear is the opposite of faith. Fear is not productive and it is not of GOD! As followers of Elihim, we grow in faith and decrease fear when we build each other up.
