Beats mixr is the latest Beats By Dre headphone collaboration. This time in partnership with Grammy-award winning producer and DJ David Guetta.

Designed especially for DJs - whatever type of music they play - the headphones are lightweight enough to wear for long periods, but designed to produce studio-quality sound even in loud environments.

Compact enough for convenient transportation and flexible enough for live performances, Beats mixr also feature an ear-cup that swivels 180-degrees enabling DJs to quickly listen to the audience.

Jimmy Iovine co-founder of Beats by Dr. Dre. “As David can attest, the quality of headphones can make or break a performance and the Beats mixr will provide DJs with studio quality sound along with the impact of a live concert in product that is durable and flexible enough to withstand the most intense performances.”

David Guetta said: ‘ The sound is better than anything I’ve experienced before because it doesn’t distort no matter what volume I am playing music at. They’re easy to travel with because they’re so light and compact.

Guetta is the latest celebrity to endorse Beats by Dr Dre headphones following Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Sean 'Diddy' Combes.

Beats mixr headphones will be available in October in black and white, gloss or matte finish from HMV retailing at around £249.95.
