Terrell Owens stopped by the Rich Eisen Show to talk about the Dallas Cowboys’ mounting injury woes. And to share that he’d had his people call their people to maybe work something out around getting Owens back out there on the field.

“We all know what happened when I was there, and there were some things said where it may have fractured the relationship between myself and (tight end Jason) Witten and Romo. Time has passed, and hopefully they know that I’ve moved on beyond that, and maybe hopefully they have. But for me, it’s all about giving myself and opportunity. That’s all I ever wanted.”

Hm.

Assuming that it was just “things said” that drove him out in the first place, the idea of Owens suiting up for the Cowboys again is still pretty hard to process. A few numbers to put it in perspective.
